K I get evrythin else xcept the part where it says "The Eclipse comes standard with..." What does standard mean??? Is this car the 1 with the gear that just has D,R,N or the 1 with the stick. Please help I'm clueless with cars. Here's the excerpt...

The Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder is a fun, sporty, top-down tourer. It offers all the pleasures of open-air motoring with few of the displeasures.

The Eclipse Spyder is a two-door, four-seat roadster based on the latest Eclipse coupe. It comes in two trim levels: GS and GT. The GS has a 162-hp four-cylinder engine mated to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. The GT has a 260-hp 3.8-liter V6 mated to a 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission. I have a set of 13 inch wheels that fit fine on 92 civic cx. I have a 2001 Nissan sentra gxe with 14 x 6 steel rims on which I would like to place these 13 x 5 inch wheels with winter tires for the season since they are narrower, they will cut through snow better. I know they have the same bolt pattern, but will they clear the brakes? Also, lug size is 12mm x 1.5 for the ones off the civic, the ones currently on the sentra are 12 mm x 1.25 lug size, does this matter?

I'm just an ordinary citizen that fly with the commercial airlines around. Just want a simple clarification on something. As i was sitting quite near the pilot cockpit and right beside the window, i found out that a small jeep with is used to haul the plane out from the landing bay, then a few workers have to unbuckle it before it can begin taxiing. So my question is does the plane has any sort of reverse gear that can do its work or it has to depend on the small jeep to haul it out all the time?
(Any real pilots or airport workers can answer me?)

Ok kind of a long sad story but here it goes...My grandfather owned a sawmill here in Oregon back in 1966. He was flying his family..my grandmother, 3 aunts and a cousin and a friend of one of my aunts she was pregnant . 7 people on board. He was enroute to his cattle ranch in Eastern Oregon when he encountered a severe lightning storm. The aircraft was an Beechcraft Queenair twin engine pressurized fully equipped ect. He even had JATO rockets one each under each wing to assist for an emergency short take off. I'm an A&P mechanic and didn't belive that until I looked at the records and yes it had them. Anyways lightning hit the plane and they crashed and all perished. My father was 17 at the time and was suppose to be on the flight but skipped out last minute. The FAA ruled that lightning "ignited the JATO's setting them off and burning into the fuselage..my question..Is that even possible? I mean isn't an aircraft safe in lightning?? thanks just curious.

Sorry, this is my third question about airplanes. I've gotten an interest into them. Well, according to the answers I got in the other question, the airplane wingspan doesn't directly affect the maximum speed. Can anyone tell me the main thing that DOES affect the speed of an airplane directly?

I have a 1999 dodge intrepid. Awile ago, the heat and AC stopped working. Well not really stop but the air doesn't come out to the vents very strongly. When ever I change the setting on the knob, it wont increase. Right before this started happening, there was a smell of burning rubber coming through the vents. I'm not sure if this was the fan burning out. The faster I go, the more air comes out the vent. The AC is still cold and the heat is hot but I can barely feel it. I live in Michigan, and I want to figure this out before it gets cold. COuld you help me find out what is causing this and how much it will cost to fix it.

Hi all. I've had my '87 CBR 600 for a few months now and have noticed that it consumes oil alarmingly fast, semi-blind guess is 1/2 qt. every one to two weeks. I've ruled out a leak-I've never seen oil under it and there are no obvious leaks, so I assume that means it's burning it. My question is, short of replacing my O-rings and/or the valves, what can I do to slow the rate at which it burns? I've read that using a synthetic oil with a higher flash point can help reduce it, can anyone second that advice? Not gonna lie to myself, I'm pretty sure I'm headed straight for an O-ring or valve change, but I'm looking for some inexpensive ways to put this off for a while. Thanks!

First, thanks to all who reply, and have replied. It really is helpful.. But to add some more info to my earlier question. My 99 Caravan does actually overheat when I exit the freeway. the res bubbles up, the gauge goes quickly to redline (Then sometimes drops as quickly to midpoint) and teh buzzers and bells start chirping...I have suggested to the mechs to check the sensors, thinking that the read to the dual fans is screwy (Technical term, excuse me) I've checked the fans, and they both do work, again I don't know if they stop working on the hwy, and the car is being air-cooled, and then the read is all fouled. I don't know. But I do know that wherever I go, I never tell the guys to try to save me $. I just ask for the prob to fixed, Is that unreasonable?..I guess my next stop should be to Dodge. 1995 gmc sonoma 2.2 5 speed manual it runs on the highway mark right past 210 probably 220. is this normal. in town it runs cooler probably 185 190. If i run the heater on the highway it stays about 185 190 it has a 195 degree themostat in it was wondering if i should put a 180 in it any advice is appreciated. it has new motor water pump egr valve plugs wires pcv valve tensioner belt themostat and radiator was flushed.

I am going to be replacing the radiator in my 94 toyo pickup.

2 questions:

1.) I want to replace my radiator with a physically bigger 3-row radiator.Is this okay? Should I go with stock size three row, or a stock (oem) 2-row unit?

2.) should I go with a plastic tank /aluminum core(I my opinion plastic radiator= problems), or a metal tank with a copper core?Which would give me the best cooling, but still let the engine get up to operating temp?

My friend just called me up, and he said he just got his ball joints replaced on a '91 960. About 15 minutes after he got out of the dealer, the car makes a "KRRRRR" noise when he turns the wheel, even in park. If you guys could help me out with this, it'd be great. Thanks in advance.
