If you are thinking it may go out, for get it. I have never known of a timing chain on the 3.3 or 3.8 ever giving problems. It will however star rattling (loose) around 180,000 miles. I changed mine because of a slight rattling noise at that mileage and discovered it couldn't jump! It has a heavy duty chain on solid steel gears. However if you do change it, You need to get a manual and follow directions. It's not that hard, but way to involved to tell here. Also, you will need a special tool to pull the crank gear off. Replace both gear with the chain also.
