It should run at 195 +/- very little on the highway , thats the thermostat opening temp. If it's higher it's either: low on coolant, restricted or bad thermostat, defective water pump, or plugged radiator. take it to a "radiator shop" and have them diagnose it.

It could also be though less likely a bad cylinder head gasket.
They will heat up worse under a load than at a stop. You would be having to add coolant if it was a bad head gasket though.

It runs 185,190 in town, run heater runs 185,190, it has a 195 degree thermostst. If in fact it has 195 thermostat it would not go below 195. anything above 190 is too hot. You made the mistake when you allowed a radiator flush. Never flush a radiator. All you do is stir up all the sediment in the system and force it into the radiator cooling channels. Go to a RADIATOR SHOP and get it checked. You probanly need it cleaned or "rodded out" as they say in the trade. Change the "stat to 185 or so, ask the radiator guy.

You're good, no need to worry.

If you were consistantly over 230, I'd tell you to do something, 210 is normal, 220 is still normal. You have anti-freeze in your coolant system, which has a much higher boiling point than straight water...because water boils at 212 deg. Therefore, you car must be meant to go above 212 degrees or water would be fine. 220 is normal.
