I am going to be replacing the radiator in my 94 toyo pickup.

2 questions:

1.) I want to replace my radiator with a physically bigger 3-row radiator. Is this okay? Should I go with stock size three row, or a stock (oem) 2-row unit?

2.) should I go with a plastic tank /aluminum core(I my opinion plastic radiator= problems), or a metal tank with a copper core?Which would give me the best cooling, but still let the engine get up to operating temp?

I would stay away from aluminum, especially if you happen to be where they salt the roads in winter. If it were me, I would go to a RADIATOR SHOP and talk it over. They repair them so should know what is best choice. I don't know what your reasons are for going larger but don't overdo it. I have a full size 4wd Dodge pickup with a 318 and I live in the heart of the Mojave Desert. I have a two pass brass radiator and a five blade fan and it never goes above normal. A large radiator will not over cool your engine. The coolant temp. is controlled by the thermostat.

It does not certainly rely what this is created from, as long because it suits the vehicle. you're searching for areas for a six-year previous vehicle. except you're making plans to maintain it perpetually (no longer a sensible suggestion,) pass with the fewer high priced areas.
