What happens when you put the wrong type of Oil in your car?

What happens when you put too much oil in your car?

If you have done either or both of the above how can you remedy the problem?
Thanks

I replaced the fuel pump so that's good, so I assume that the camshaft lobe which cycles the pump is worn. Anyone have a cheap fix besides changing the cam or installing an electric pump? Car has over 100k miles not worth too much work or money. Thanks.

The dealer has had my car on and off for a month. They think it is electrical. They have replaced the body control module and it is still dying. It just stops while driving like someone pulled a plug. It will start right back up and drive for a while longer sometimes all day sometimes it dies again in a few minutes. The first time I had it in the shop it drove that way for a week then died and wouldn't start back up and I had to have it towed. I have replaced the battery and fuel filter. They say the alternator and fuel pump are not the problem. Does anyone have any other ideas I can have the dealership check? They seem to not be able to figure it out. I don't know if this is related but the car has also had problems with the windshield wipers coming on at random and I can't turn them off. So far since they replaced the body control module this hasn't happened. So they may be two different electrical module problems. Thanks for any help and ideas for solving this problem!

1996 Ford Taurus GL will only go in reverse. Is there a part on the transmission that can be replaced, or does the whole thing need to be replaced? I know they made two transmissions, but i am not sure which one it is.

I have a socket set, a 1.5 ton hydraulic jack and other basic tools, will i need anything special to replace or repair the tranny? thanks.

The car (Dodge Caravan 2006) is only 15 months old and had 13500 miles...is this normal that I need my pads and rotors replaced? I am not an agressive driver, as I always have my three kids in the car with me. I have been looking online and have been seeing that the rotors should normally last about 35-40000 miles. Any help is appreciated!!

I was in my car at Blockbuster yesterday and a lady with her kids in the car parked next to me. She got out and her son in the back passenger seat hit my car. She said "Baby Boy you have to be careful"
Minor damage but a small dent is there on a new car. She could not see me in the car and I was shocked she left no note. So I moved my car away from her car (dont want another dent)

Went into Blockbuster & told her that her son hit my car. She said "What do you want me to do about it"? I told her I need her information and when I told her I heard her tell her son to be careful her eyes got big. She sent her older son outside and we exchanged info. He then told me I could get a tool at a auto store adnd pop it out.

I called my insurance and reported there info. We have the same insurance company. I have a $1,000 deductable. I don't think I should have to pay for it. thanks!

My headunit is Kenwood 22 watts RMS/50 peak x 4 channels. Im currently looking at 4 different 6x9 speakers to replace my blown rear 6x9's. Here they are:

Infinity Kappa 2 way
2-110 watts RMS (330 watts peak power)
2-ohm impedance
frequency response: 35-25,000 Hz

Infinity Kappa 3 way
2-110 watts RMS (330 watts peak power)
2-ohm impedance
frequency response: 35-25,000 Hz

Alpine Type R 2Way 6x9
2-100 watts RMS (300 watts peak power)
4 ohm impedence
frequency response: 60-27,000 Hz

Polk Audio db690 3way 6x9
10-100 watts RMS (300 Peak)
frequency response: 35-22,000 Hz
4 ohm impedence

Im trying to learn about car audio and I understand most of the values like RMS and the frequency but I dont quite understand what OHM is and how to interpret whether I nee 2 or 4. I was also told that speakers that are 2ohm would require me to buy an additional amp to power them is this true?

What I wanted to know was which would bet suit my head unit. and which wont. Thanks

Hi, I'm 24 yrs old and a motorcycle fanatic. I used to have a kawasaki zx-6 ninja which was super fast but unfortunately i got into an accident and had to get rid of my hobby. I've recently recovered from my fear of bikes and would like to purchase another one. But this time, i don't want to get a sports bike, as they're uncomfortable and no fun unless you ride them at 100mph. At the same time i don't feel old enough to be riding a cruiser, its just not my style. Therefore i'm interested in the naked sport bike category and would appreciate any advice or help regarding what bike to chose. I'm interested in the triumph STREET triple and the ducati monster. Are those good/fun bikes to ride?

I'm just wondering why people seem to hate Toyota and Nissan and all so much for? People act like they're part of some terrorist group or something, and that you must get "American made" vehicles. I don't know if they've noticed but all the so called "American" companies are opening their factories over seas and costing thousands of Americans their jobs. And that Toyotas are actually made in the states! Not only that but these "American" made cars just don't hold up like their japanesse counterparts, at least from my own exp. So I'd just like to know what yall think! Thanks for any answers!
