Confidence is one thing, reflex is another. If you have slow reflexes, stay off the steering wheel. You don't want to get stuck in a drain just because your daily route has a construction detour.

Oh my goodness yes! you HAVE to have confidence to be a good driver. and No! unless you have a physical disorder, you can learn to drive. Don't be afraid! and how old are you? Well regardless, you can still do it.
When i first learned I WAS HORRIBLE, but with time I just got better and better. I used to not look at the speedometer becuz i was too afraid to take my eyes off the road for a split second! and i was driving with my legs all tensed up just incase i had to make a quick stop! but now im much more relaxed.
You have to know that YOU are in control of the car and the car is NOT in control of you. It will take some time to learn the basics but once you do that, it wont be so scary. You should go to an empty parking lot with an experience/licensed driver and just go crazy with it.
Personally, I think the hardest part of driving is looking out for other drivers. Becuz no matter how good of a driver you are, you never know when someone will run a red light or make a last minute turn or jump in front of you at the last minute w/out signaling u. When you drive you have to remember to drive for others because everyone wont make the best road decisions!
So you go get your learn on. No one is too stupid for ANYTHING! it may take a little longer than expected but I believe that you can do all things through Christ Jesus. So i wish you the best!

Not necessarily too stupid, but some people do not have the concentration or ability to multi-task that driving requires. By multi-tasking, I don't mean eating, talking, driving, etc., but watching all sides, checking the rear view mirror, anticipating the moves of other drivers, etc. Also, some people have very bad spatial relations and can't always adequately judge distances between vehicles, stop lights, etc.
Confidence can go both ways. It makes some people too careless. Fear makes for bad drivers, though.

No one is too stupid to drive. It takes alot of attention and some confidence the thing is you can be overly confident and that can cause stupidy thinking your are superman/woman behind the wheel of a vehicle. With practice and a good teacher anyone can learn.

Its all about confidence!
Anyone can learn how to drive, but it takes confidence on the roads to really make a good driver.

Yes confidence is a big part. Learning to drive is like learning math or science. If they fail once they'll just try again. Until they get it right. Unless they like give up. Practice makes perfect and eventually they'll get the license

confidence plays a HUGE part in being a good driver, just don't get over confident, that can ruin good driving habits.

As far as any one being to stupid to learn to drive not sure on that one. But as far as being confidence in your driving ability i would say definitely yes. You have to have it because if you do not then you will more then likely not care, cause wrecks and who knows what else.
