My dad owns the car that I drive for him. He cannot drive anymore. In order to keep insurance on his car, does he have to maintain a current drivers license? I am on his policy as a licensed driver. We live in Texas.

yes it's true. That's why you should use bio-deisel or electric cars. This is a serious problem and we need to stop. Before you know it, the world will come to an end.

I own an 83 Honda Magna V45, which I recently purchased. After further inspection, I've realized that the tank inside has started to rust. maybe 20-40% covered. I have heard that cleaning the tank with an acidic mixture and then creaming it to coat it is what I need to do. I have also heard that the cream starts to deteriorate as well causing junk in the carbs, and that just the straight mixture + power washing the inside is better. I don't know what to do?

Purchasing a new tank is out of the question.

It's so wierd, by back lights of my car have been on the whole night and even till right now, when the car was turned off. The car is still off but the back lights are still on. The car wont start neither. What can I do ? Thanks for the input.

Hi, i have a 94 Chevy 1500 4x4 and it is burning coolant. I havent checked to see whether its the head gasket or its a cracked head, but its leaking a little bit of oil in between the head and the block. What do you think it is?

Stuck in traffic for 2.75-4 hours everyday, but the money is the only motivation that my job offers. Is this too much time dealing with traffic or should i start looking for a new family docotor job? If i applied for a job near home, it would result in a $30,000 reduction because therer are so many medical centers here.

salary = $150,000 a year and maybe overtime, if you put that in perspective

it was a power antenna located on the rear fender,,the antenna is broke,i can get the unit out but the antenna doesn't come out of the unit

I am at a loss! I have a 95 Chevy Silverado 1/2 ton pick-up. When I bought it from a buddy of mine he told me the abs light stayed on all the time. I decided to bleed the brakes but that didn't fix the problem. Approximately 6 weeks ago the brake light came on and stayed on. I checked the pads and shoes and they are still good. Last night I almost couldn't stop at the red light. Any last things I can check before I take it to the shop?

i tried to buy a used lexus rx330, which they listed on their website for $26,995. unfortunately, i didn't print it out. when i got there, they said the price was $32,000. i told them of the advertised price on the website, and they said it was wrong. i wasted an hour there and walked off. can they really do this? i hate that scumbag sales rep. how can i get that dealership back. isn't that false advertising or bait and switch? please help.

Yesterday as I was leaving my old apartment my car started kind of funny. When I was trying to leave my new Apt. my car wouldnt start. Eventually it did.. but not very well. It's been doing that since. It sat over night, and when I left for work today I had to give it some gas to get it to start. I also have an anit-theft cd player in my car (2000 Mitsubishi Galant) that stopped working after my car wouldn't start the first time. Now it says Code. Is this because of the starting problem... I don't know anyting about cars... clearly!

Someone stole my passenger side view mirror (glass only). I've called an auto parts store and they said I need to replace the whole mirror casing. Can't I just replace the glass? Do you think they're trying to rip me off because I'm a female? I know Pep Boys sells replacement mirrors. Can I just buy one of those? p.s. Its a powered mirror.

My wife has a 50cc Habana, she was travelling home the other day when it broke down, she wasn't able to start it again at the time as the Battery seemingly died, we have charged the battery and replaced the Spark Plugs and its now starting (with the electric starter) but you can't kickstart it, when it starts it runs a lot slower than normal even with the accelorator fully turned and occasionally it will get to normal speed but often stalls, any ideas what is causing this as we can't really afford to take it to the mechanics so i want to try and do the work myself, i am going to check the air filter tonight and am presuming it might be the Carburetor but if anyone can verify this and advise i'd be grateful. anyone knows what is considered high or low rolling resistance values for a car? I got this data sheet from the dealer after they tested my car... the rear rolling resistance seems out of whack but they are claiming it is normal...

Front Left = 290N Brake Force = 2320N
Front Right = 310N Brake Force = 2140N

Rear Left = 750N Brake Force = 1750N
Rear Right = 930N Brake Force = 1690N

the rear rolling resistance seems too high and have almost a 20% differential...

can anyone help?
