I use to do it all the time but then got pulled over one time and was given a lecture by the police. When i told him i was flashing a mate he then wasted another 5 minutes of my life by telling me that it was an offence to flash to friends etc.
I then told him if we were in America i would of shot him by now lol

Why bother? there are those drivers who still speed when there is a perfectly obvious speed camera in full view, It baffles me why some people just have to drive 10 miles or so faster than the prescribed limit , is it SO important to knock a few minutes of the journey.

No. Otherwise I'd be flashing/ thumbing all the time !!

Anyway maps and sat navs have the info these days.
If you wish to speed my feeling is that nothing I will do can stop you.

Pretty much anything you do will be misinterpreted as something else. Nobody is going to figure out what you were trying to convey. I drive slower through these intersections or blind curves so the guy tailgating me gets mad and speeds around me and gets the ticket! Ha ha. Then I wave back at him.

No, I get out and wave a yellow flag while shooting four flares and sounding an air raid siren. I know it sounds like alot of trouble but I find it more effective than the method you mentioned.
