I am currently constructing a surfboard-based catamaran with small, rigid sails. The idea is to build a windpowered water vehicle anybody can handle, and which won't capsize, and lets you commute through New Zealand harbours provided you're wearing a wetsuit.

I've put an image of it in my 360-blog and would be really happy if someone who understands the subject could take a look and tell me whether this will work.

Thank you for your help.

I am moving out of my house. I have to be out by tomorrow. I have all of my stuff at my new house, but my ex-roommate left 2 HUGE wheels, 2 car engines and other spare (yet brand new) car parts at our old house. I have told him numerous times he needs to get them out, yet they remain. He has till tomorrow.

My question is, if he doesn't pick them up what can I do with them? I have heard I can make good money selling them, but any idea who I would sell them to? Not a specific buisness or person, just a general idea of what kinds of places to look into.

They are to big to bid out online (like on e-bay) I could never ship them.

And I'm talking about the kind of yield in driving. I'm taking my permit test and I've been reading my drivers manual but I don't get what yield means. Can someone please tell me?

I want to supercharger my V6 firebird (Buick 3800). I'm not putting on the Eaton that is found on GTPs. Someone told me that since I have an auto trans, it will blow the tranny. Is that true? How much extra horsepower can I put on the trans before it blows and what can I do to make it handle the extra power?

Is this true, I have taken it to a couple of mechanics and the all tell me that my bolts are striped. and that it would cost me $400 to replace another. I spend so much money on people trying to open it, but it does not even need be be open, i will just replace it when it gets 100,000 miles.

I have an 82 Ford F150 that I'm intersted in restoring.
It's a standard cab with an 8' bed.
I'm capable of doing most labor myself, as I am a mechanic, but I'de prefer to outsource the body work, and I'm having difficulty getting a quote: There is a dent in the passenger side door, both rear wheel wells are rusted out, as are the panels at the bottom rear of the box, and the tailgate has "pit rust".
I'm interested in what price is fair for these repairs as well as having the vehicle sanded down, reprimed, and repainted to a factory or better quality.
Also, I'de like to know about having the frame, front I-beams, and rear axle sandblasted bare, and either painted, powder coated, or "rhino-lined"

Except that, it is very clean. The mechanic said that just the cost of checking it will be more expensive than the car and the probabilities of having internal motor damage are very high. Should I just take it to the junk yard? Any other idea to get at least a few bucks?

We bought a Mustang but the man who had it before us took the engine out and took it apart and never got around to putting it back together. Is there a guide we can use online to put it back together and put it back in?

Here's a brain melter for all you chevy guys. I have a 1990 Chevy Suburban 5.7L 4wd that constantly blows the ECM B fuse. First thing I replaced was the fuel pump relay as it only happened when the ECM is connected and the fuel pump relay was connected. Cranks but still no go. Found a burnt wire and replaced the wire that connected to the manifold. Started once let it run in park then turned it off. Started it again a few minutes later and when I shifted into reverse the fuse blew and the engine died completely. Traced all the wires from the ECM to their various places, disconnected the fuel pump power and the fuse still blows. Now it won't start at all just cranks, any ideas?

I'm gonna be putting a 3" body lift on my 2000 Ford Ranger XLT.

I don't know much about tires, but I'm thinking of 31-32" tires. Would I be able to use the same wheels I have? Can anyone link me to some specific tires that they have or think would look good? I will NOT be offroading at all, so no need for super swampers or anything like that.

Please don't answers if you're just going to link me to tirerack.com or something lke that.

I"m sure you have encountered this somewhere. you get some old blue hair in the twelve item or less lane at the store with way more items than the lane allows. They are counting pennies out that they have been saving from like 1922, or trying to use using coupons for something they don't even have. why is this allowed? how can it be stopped? they gotta cut the crap.

My husband dropped his wedding ring on the ground by accident when he was taking it off to take a shower and the diamond fell out of it. We looked all over and cannot find the diamond at all. I want to know if there is a place that will replace the diamond with a new one and place it inside the missing space? Is there even such a place that does that kind of thing? I live in Miami, so if anyone knows if a place down here does that kind of thing or if you know of a place in general that can fix rings can you please let me know. If I know there is a place that does this then I can try and look for someplace here. The place we bought the ring from doesn't do it.
