142K is like new for a 99 model. late model GM cars and trucks are designed with new technology in drive line and electrical to outlast cars built in the previous years. what 100K miles meant to a car in the late 1980's is what 250K miles means to a car built in the late 90's and anytime you feel insecure you can always have it checked out by you local Chevrolet dealer service dept............{advice} its always best to use a dealer service dept because independent shop's tend to find "imaginary" problems to make money and the dealer don't get paid to work on vehicles they get paid to fix them. good luck with you blazer and wish you many safe miles

91 cavalier at 220,000 I gave it to my cousin. Female with kids and no car. Only problem ever was the starter which failed repeatedly. Never cured. Eventually wrecked at well over 250K

95 S-10 bought at 200,000 put a Reese Hitch on it, abused it pulling way too much weight, ran over stuff you would not believe. Dented all 4 corners, broke both mirrors off, and dented both doors. Dropped 700 pounds onto the tail gate, and bent it into a V so it got replaced. Other than the Tail gate and tires I never had to do anything to the truck. Tail gate and tires were my fault, and I should have had to do more to it considering the way I treated it, but hey Chevy vehicles are tough! Sold at over 250,000 when I started developing a coughing problem and became worried about a coughing fit causing me to have a wreck other than petty tree scrapes.

nothing to be worried about. We had a 1992 Suburban with 219,000 miles on her.. and she was running great! The only reason I sold her was because the guy gave me twice her book value. Looking back.. I kick myself in teeth for that everyday.. I miss that vehicle. Best I ever had. She was built Chevy tough for sure.
