My husband and I went to look at a new Toyota Highlander. When we first went to the dealership, they had not arrived yet from the manufacturer. We received a phone call when they came in. This particular salesman told us that his late nights were Tuesdays. So my husband and I went this past Tuesday to test drive the vehicle. The saleman told my husband and I that he was too busy with other customers and could not help us. He told us to come back Saturday morning. The salesman called today to tell us that he cannot show the vehicle until 2pm because he has other customers. Then he asked my husband if he is really going to buy this vehicle. We haven't even had a test drive. My husband and I are a young couple, but I totally feel jerked around.

Is $250 a reasonable price for fixing/replacing all four coil springs on a 2002 Ford Focus SE 4-dr sedan? The front coil spring on passenger side needs fixing and I was advised by mechanic it is customary to replace ALL at the same time. Please advise thanks!

My family has 2 cars. One is a 1994 Ford Escort. Another is a 1999 Honda Passport. My insurance company is State Farm. I'm a 16 year old male. If my mom is the primary driver on a 1987 Firebird, I'm the primary driver on the 1994 Ford Escort, and my dad is the primary driver on the 1999 Honda Passport, how much would it cost? I guess State Farm requires me to be fully insured on all 3 cars, but if there is only liability on the Firebird and the Escort, could I maybe get insurance for $1,600/year? I have 1 ticket to my name (no turn on red), but i'm going to court in like 2 weeks to get that taken care of. I've been driving since April. Thanks.

Would you try to get money from their insurance or would you let them go?

I just receieved a notice a few days ago that my Maryland registration is to be suspended today because I didn't have it tested for emissions on time. I have been trying to call, but of course can't get through. I don't even live in Maryland anymore, I live in Nevada. I haven't switched my registration over yet, but I will sometime in the next 2 weeks. Will I just have to pay a fine or will I be in big trouble?

I'm planning to travel to DC by Amtrak. I'll be by myself, and the trip is about 14 hours. I'm very excited - this will be my first trip via train - but I'm also nervous. I've heard there can be some pretty sketchy people on trains. What's your opinion? Is it worth it? Any tips or ideas? Thanks!

I just bought a used 2006 Dodge Charger SXT (6 Cylinder) from someone. It has 20,000 miles on it and I made sure the person that sold it to me brought it to a Dodge dealer to be inspected for any flaws. The only thing they said was minor break dust which they fixed. I love everything about this car EXCEPT the gas mileage!! I don't believe that this car gets THAT bad of gas mileage, I'm sure something has to be wrong with it. My girlfriend's dad's Cadillac CTS has 9 more horsepower than me and drives around the city all the time and ge gets around 20 MPG!! The first day I got the car the gas went down dramatically which i understand because I wanted to see how well it accelerated to 60 MPH. But then I filled the tank a drove casually to see what I COULD get at its best and I calculated 12.4_ miles per gallon! (This is not a mistake... I can do math, haha). Any ideas anyone? Anything would be helpful! Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions!

I understand that the tires have a short life. The Bmer dealer said that the tires cannot be changed to conventional tires - ever - the local tire dealer said that they can. Has anyone changed the RFT to conventional tires? Does it effect performance/handling/safety. The cost of the RFT are outrageous and the life expectancy is only about 25K miles.

My friend told me he just filled his gas tank up and his gas was almost gone by the end of the day, he wasn't hardly going anywhere. He drives a Subaru Impreza STI and that car is fast. LOL, I see why he drives it so fast all the time. However, I told him, it's probably because you smash on the gas taking off fast at stoplights and racing. Is this true? Would his gas last longer if he were taking off at a good slow start like everyone else or does that matter? Also I noticed from my experience that some vehicles have a certain liter engine? What's that all about? Mine is 1.7 Liter, Some are 2.5, just different liter amounts? What does that mean?

Studies suggest that since 1973 the number of Privately owned Diesel engined passenger vehicles (cars) have gone from 2.9% of the UK Vehicle Owning public to just under 44.3% in 2006. Why is this?, Diesel is the same cost as Unleaded Fuel, Servicing tends to be more expensive and diesels need servicing more often, the noise is enough to drive you mad and you have to wait for glow plug lights to go off before you can start them. Why does the UK love diesel so much. Is this trend shared in the US ? In this country for every 1 Unleaded pump at the Petrol Stations there is 1 Diesel Pump.
