I was scrubbing sap off my car and I accidentally scratched some of the paint. The scratches are really light. What do I do now? What do I have to buy to fix it myself?

what is the normal water temperature for a 1970 350 engine? I know these run hotter than other engines but this one goes up to 220-225, when idleing but drops to about 200-215 when driving.

Cooling system has been flushed many times and water circulates well.

Engine is in a 86 Camaro z28. Water pump, radiator, and shroud are new, has a machanical fan.

I have a 2001 Honda CRV-EX. Last weekend I took my car in for an oil change and the radio was fine. I came out from the oil change and the radio now has no power to it whatsoever. I've checked the fuse and it's fine so at this point I'm completely lost. Can anyone tell me where to begin?

I am currently using a 5-door Peugeot 307 model '03. I know Pugs tend to engine break when you release the gas pedal but there is distinct high pitch sound that is produced. I do not like it. What is it? It sounds like metal-to-metal contact

I am going to change my OEM plugs and install NGK Iridium plugs this weekend. According to the website, it says not to gap the new plugs, however I'm worried that will cause decreased performance. Should I gap them, and if so, how much for a 2005 N/A 3.5L Altima with some minor mods?

Ok I love my car and everything but I know it's gonna be costly to get it repaired now that the warranty is expired. But I think I need to get my rotors replaced or something, because when I do above 60 mph on the highway, it starts to shake! Like the steering wheel shakes. What is wrong? Whatever it is, and I have to get it fixed, how much is it going to cost me? And should I just by a whole new car instead? lol I'm tempted to explain it to the dealer where I go, and just buy a different car, roll my loan or just trade it in. What is the most cost effective? By the way, my car is a '98 C230 with 110,000 miles.

My Astra 1.6 is five years old and has mileage of less than 21,000. My garage tells me that Vauxhall recommend that the cambelt should be changed after 40,000 or four years, whichever is the sooner.

The garage also says that I should get the cambelt changed urgently in view of the time - as if the cambelt breaks it could cause further damage which would mean a much larger bill.

Do you think it's urgent to get the cambelt changed? If not, how long would you leave it?

I love ghetto cars... I've heard Escalades or a broke-@$$ Dodge Neons are really awesome ghetto cars. I want to be ghetto and drive around the city in one of these classy, dignified vehicles. It's funny, the other day I saw a classic ghetto car (side door with a big @$$ dent and a broken window) driving into the projects and right behind that car was a brand new Lexus that drove into the same project. I love how ghetto folks can drive such amazing vehicles. What are some other ghetto cars?

I just put my car (2000 Civic) in the shop for the 4th time because it keeps losing pressure in its brake system. Originally, I was told that the problem was a leaky cylinder on the rear drum, that cost me $200 to replace. Then, as my pedal kept becoming slacker (I'm just losing pressure, not actually leaking brake fluid), I had the master brake cylinder changed. But now 3 days later, the travel (or slack) in my pedal has doubled, so I just dropped it off again. This garage is normally the most competent and honest around, and I've been there a dozen times before (so much that I'm on a first name basis with the owner). I've never had to have anything redone by these guys. He told me that basically every part of my brake system has been thoroughly replaced or inspected, but that he'll look it over anyway. What else could be causing this? Thank you.
