The manual is supposed to stay in the car, so that it can be read instantly if the vehicle breaks down. The only way to ensure that is to have it in paper form.
Also, cars change from year to year. If you were to download one, how can the manufacturer ensure you have the correct manual for your car?
You should be able to order a new manual from a Ford dealer's parts department.

Start with Ford's web site. I was able to download an owner's manual (pdf) for my Altima at Nissan's web site.
