I have a 350z, which i financed new a couple months ago. I am expecting a child in the next 7 months, so how would i go about trading for a cheaper model? The 350z is nearly $35,000 and the altima is around $25,000.

I just read up on the 10% ethanol gas and the differences between straight old fashoned gas and the newly available 10% ethanol blended gas. I don't understand how this could be a problem. If anything it seems that ethanol should run the same or maybe marginally better then gas? So what's the deal? I was running my mower it ran out of gas, the same gas I've had in my can for several months and was pre-ethanol, then I filled it up with new fresh from the station gas (10% ethanol ) and the motor just couldn't even out, it races then chokes and races and chokes and just won't get up to speed.

Coincidence? Or a bad omen for ethanol blended fuel and old motors? 5hp Briggs and Stratton at least 8 years old. Thanks!

I have a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT and since i bought it i noticed that it changes gears rough. It is an automatic. When it goes from 1st to 2nd theres a small jerk in the car also 2nd to 3rd but not as bad and really you dont feel it after that. Its mainly just 1st to 2nd. Why does it do this? Is it fixable? And would it do any good to change the transmission oil? Thanks!

I have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler and I have a noise coming from what we have now figured out is the transmission. It is a metallic clanking/clicking that does not occur when the car is first started, only after being driven about 30 minutes when it is hot outside (80+ degrees). Noise is not made in Park, and we have eliminated the idea of a spark knock or lifters.)

Noise is not made when the car is driving 30+ miles an hour or more. When the car comes down in speed to a stop or like 10mph the noise begins and only goes away when I am able to get the car back up to speed.

The noise increases when the car is given gas. It is hard to gain speed when this is occuring and no code is ever sent to turn on the engine or any other lights.

I am thinking it could be something with the torque converter, but we cannot figure out why this only occurs hot and not when the car is first started.

it is a celica ST. it only has 56 thousand miles on it. their is no rust and apears to be in great shape, both interior and exterior. i had a mechanic inspect it and he said that their are no problems. obviously the biggest problem is that it is 21 years old... but should that really matter if it runs like new?

I'm buying a new equinox Monday for my wife. We have test drove a used one and decided to buy a new one instead. Does anyone have any information on them? Are they safe? Are there any recalls? What are your experience with one?

Thank You!

How is this car's acceleration? braking? handling? reliability? modibility? I just bought it for $1500. It has low miles, and is in pretty good shape. It is a 1988 BMW 325i 6 cylinder with standard transmission. I want to customize it and put performance mods into it, but I dont know if it would be worth it. Does anyone know any good BMW aftermarket parts websites? I cant seem to find any. Thanks to all.

I must say that if the hubs are what I see immediately behind the decorative cover (whatever that is called), they do not look new. They look rusty if anything.

I have a 1979 Honda CB705L. I just bought it, and I was wondering if the seat could open up to a compartment where you can put tools and such. If so, how? If not, how then can you please explain how you put saddlebags on a bike? Thanks!

I picked up a Yamaha TW Trailway. The side plates are gone so I don't know what size it is. Don't know what year it is either? Is there a web site where I can look up it's history by the VIN number? Looking at yamaha.com it shows this bike was made from 87-07. Thanks

Hey how long do you think the car mustang will last for. I know that it depends on how many miles you drive a day, but just give me an estimate. And what color do you think will be the best for a guy (for the exterior of a mustang) who is in college, so he can get a lot of girls.

A few weeks ago, the gauges would suddenly stop working (gas, speed, rpm) and a minute later they'd pop back on and work again. On and off, on and off. About a week ago, they'd go off and stay off. By chance I found if I pushed the tripometer button they'd come back on. Now the gauges have just completely stopped. I thought maybe a loose wire or short but no idea where to look for this. Maybe something else? Any ideas?? Thank you!
