Why would you? Find a 350 and put it in that puppy

no it would not due to the postion of the engine mountes and also the trany will not bolt up and also the wireing will not work.also the s-10 engine is a truck engine not a car engine.it is best to just get a engine from a savage yard for that year and have it rebuilt and then you know it will bolt right in.plus if you need parts for the motor and you go to the auto part store and they ask what you have in the car and you tell them you have a S-10 engine they will not be able to help you

Should bolt right in. Hopefully 4.3 had a throttle body carb. Remove & replace with a standard carb. Have to extend the fan shroud & modify your rad hoses. Cost of a new exhaust system. Hopefully it will not change the position of the transmission or you'll need some driveshaft modifications.

Would be more cost effective to drop in another small block.
