There are of course the pictures. 3.5/ yellow and 0.8/red time had elapsed before I entered the intersection. It was safer for me to do so as I drive a huge SUV and cars were behind me. Also speed vs. weight of vehicle is a factor.

well i am back .. and i changed the MAP sensor and i checked out the ignition module... did a fuel filter change and a Fuel Pressure Regulator change .... its the famous 2.9 V6 and for those of you who know there is no EGR on this motor . .. i am still having problems with the truck dogging down while driving almost as if ... the fuel filter was clogging or something but yet ... the truck will idle all day long and no problem and rarely stalls .... and the check engine light doesnt come on ... and i bought one of these . Actron code scanners for Ford and the only thing i get is ... the Oxygen Sensor is running lean and does not switch .. and i have done replaced the Oxygen sensor in a vehicle before with .... with the same problem it was running rich or lean and changed it and it told me the same afterward .. so i cant think it is that sensor either ...... ... doesnt seem to be any Vacuum leakes .. and when it dogs out seems to put out a bit of smoke black smoke ... any ideas anyone?

Usually, the manual will tell you which gas you should use for your vehicle. I was just wondering what the booklet says for this car. Thanks!

I drive a lexus truck, I know because of the name its considered luxury. But lexus are nothing more than an upgraded toyota. Here's my problem because its a lexus mechanics use that to their full advantage and over charge me for minor problems. My battery died and when it did it took a few fuses with it. When I called the dealership to fix it they want me to tow my car to them and pay them $250 to change my battery and replace some fuses. Now I don't know much about cars but I did some research and for the parts it comes to $90. why are they charging me an extra $160 dollars for labor. thats ridiculious!! If I can't trust the people who sold me the car, how can I trust anyone else?

The head gasket on my Peugeot 106 has 'gone' for the second time within six months. (I was told the cylinder head didn't need skimming the first time but something tells me it did!!). Someone told me to use HG sealant because it would save a lot of money, rather than have the HG replaced.
Does anyone know if the sealant works? and if it does, how long might I expect it to last, roughly?
Alternatively, if I get the head gasket replaced, how much longer might I expect to be able to continue using the car?

The car's 9 years old, has an 1100 petrol engine and has done just under 100,000 miles. I really don't know what to do and would be very grateful for any advice, suggestions, etc. Thank you

Ok, I have a 1998 Chevy Cavalier and a warning light keeps coming on and I have no idea what it is. It is a squarish tank with an arrow pointing down. It appears to mean that something is low, but I have checked all the fluids. What does this light mean? I do not have the manual to look it up.

I sucked up some kind of debris into my air cooler and it fried the engine on the freeway before I knew it was overheating...

Because of time problems I can not rebuild my own this time so heres a unique question to come out of my mouth.

I am in California - Where in California (or even Oregon) is a shop that puts together a great and sturdy longblock? I have the Tin and the misc. stuff and can do the install.. I just need a good longblock? So, does anyone have any recommendations??

It looks like the scratch is from keeping the old wipers on too long, the scratch follows the pathe the wiper takes. Any fix besides a new windshield?

I own a Toyota 1999 4runner Limited. I've had it for sale on ebay and craigslist for 2 weeks and selling it for less than blue book value (blue book says it would sell for $10k-$12000), but potential buyers are shying away. I don't understand. I only asked $8000 for it which is $2000 less than its value. It has 137k and its very clean w/ lots of extras (towing hitch, brush guard, sports muffler, sun roof, roof rack, etc). I thought it would have sold by now because of Toyota's good reputation.

How long do you think it should take to sell a really nice pre-owned 4runner? (I'm the 2nd owner, non-smoker).

I was wondering if this amp would be sufficient for my subwoofers:

Also, how should I wire this? Should I bridge it to utilize maximum power?

Thanks in advance!

I have an automatic transmission '92 Stealth. When I put the car in reverse, it rocks pretty hard when the car is first started. The longer I drive, the less noticable the rocking sensation when reversing - i.e. if I drive a distance to a place and the transmission fluid warms up, after parking and then reversing out of the spot the hard shift into reverse is not as noticable and sometimes not even present. I guy at a shop said it was most likely a transmission fluid leak somewhere and added a quart of fluid and gave me a card to a transmission shop. The other problem is when the car is accelerating from a stop, it is embarassing slow! It seems to have lost any power in the lower gears. Don't think these two problem are related and perhaps it is both a transmission problem and engine problem?
