Yes, but the sound quality may not be what you expect.

I currently have an MP3 player as my source for music, so the following will work for you as well.

Using an FM modulator, http://www.crutchfield.com/S-9oDEWuNVIo6/cgi-bin/prodview.asp?i=142FMMOD01 , you connect it to the stock head unit and the sound will go to the speakers through the headphone jack.

If you have an amp as well, you'll need some additional cables/adapters:

#1. Stereo 1/8" male-female, 2 feet long
#2. Stereo 1/8" splitter
#3. Stereo 1/8" to stereo RCA female

#1 will go form the notebooks headphone jack to #2. #2 will connect to both the FM modulator with the cable provided and to #3. #3 will connect to the RCA cable coming from the amp.

Before you connect the notebook, you'll need determine the signal volts and adjust the gain on the amp to match. With an AC voltmeter, measure the AC volts of a 60Hz 0db test tone available from here http://www.realmofexcursion.com/downloads.htm at 3/4 total volume and set the gain accordingly.

Don't you think that would be to much distraction. Pardon my driving I just got an e-mail...The aafter the crash the police officer would look in and see you watching movies... And wouldn't a $300 dollar I pod hold plenty of music and be much more user friendly in a car. Not very many head units have 1/8" head phone jack imputs some you can wire in imput jack at the rear of the unit.
