Maybe, just maybe, she loves it and is happy and comfortable with it. I've got a 2003 Mazda2 that I loathe, so buy one for me instead! A Nissan Qashqai, Dodge Caliber or a Kia Cee'd would do nicely thank you. And I'd give you a very special thank you!

She probably has a 'connection' with that car, and feels comfortable driving it. I loved my last car, the only reason I got rid of it was because it began to fall apart (it was a Fiat), so if shes happy with her VW, then whats the problem?
Has she named the car? If so, it'll hard for her to part with it, if shes anything like me

Is your other half married to you or just a significant other. Maybe she would have issues with you buying her a car. I dated a girl for 5 years and we built a house together, but not a shot in hell would she ever let me buy her a car.

its a result mate . new cars devalue 000's overnight, her car as long as it runs will never lose money!
golfs are good, looked after it could well see another 100k.
spend some money on it, cheap spray job? new wheels?
could get all that for under a grand, itll look smart. tidy golfs are very respectable

purchase it as rapid as you could, procuring it so much less costly means you could placed some money into it the type you elect for. i could have the oil replaced, and four new plugs put in it, an air and a gasoline filter out, make beneficial the tires are good, replace them if mandatory and this little automobile will bypass a protracted procedures devoid of putting to any extent further money in it! you will become tired of the automobile until now it wears out, so merely stress the heck out of it!

Are you kidding? That's my idea of heaven. My wife "needs" a new car every three years. You are the king.

Maybe she likes it! Maybe she's not materialistic & obsessed with having a 'NEW' thing. I could afford a new car, but I choose to spend my cash on other things. Count yourself lucky!

She likes her Golf....it's that simple!
She's just attached to it.
Spend the money on something else.
