Usually, the manual will tell you which gas you should use for your vehicle. I was just wondering what the booklet says for this car. Thanks!

Let me look Yes it does have to have at least 87 anti knock index. that is 91 octane pump gas. Please don't despair good name brand fuel is better for the engine and gets enough more miles a gallon to pay for the extra 20 cents a gallon or three or four dollars a tank full over 15 gallons two more miles a gallon lets say you only get 21 miles a gallon or three hundred miles regular and premium get 23 mpg = 45 miles or the same cost it took you to go that distance it is a wash premium gas engines run better and produce more power have higher compression so the better gasoline is not actually any more expensive if you can get two or three more MPG you may even be money ahead with the GOOD STUFF

It all depends for what you want it. If you want great mileage get one of those bio-fuels. Containing gasoline and around 15% ethnol. it takes a little more for the engine to burn the fuel. Now if you want it for speed get nitro mixed with your gasoline. around 15 percent. it burns the gas faster producing more power. But If you looking for regular driving around. then preium no less. BP is the best place they use 10% ethnol.

Yes. I highly recommend using premium fuel only for the VQ35s. Using anything less will only result in loss of power, pinging, knocking, and a sluggish motor. The VQ is tuned to use premium..so use it.
