It looks like the scratch is from keeping the old wipers on too long, the scratch follows the pathe the wiper takes. Any fix besides a new windshield?

Call you local auto glass shop.Ask them if they do this type of repair.Not all do.You could call you car dealer and ask the service dept for a phone number of a shop that does this type of repair.

mr. windshield...they can do anything...they'll even do it at your house...when the windshield was smashed in my pickup they used to stick cards in my door bout once a week
