Why does my motorcycle make a loud "clicking" sound when I upshift??? Is this bad for my trans??? Is there something that I am doing wrong? If it makes a difference I ride a 07 Kawasaki Ninja 500R.

I'm 17 and I've never ridden a bike before, but I'm about to take the MSF course, and I want a ZX-14 for my first bike. I also dont want to die the first time I ride it. Is it possible to restrict a ZX-14 to about 70 mph?

When I scroll through the sources it goes through Tuner, CD, and standby but I used to have another option, Aux input, which was directly connected by a stereo mini cable. Now the option does not come up. Can someone help by explaining how this happened or how I can fix it?

I lost the bracket with the 2 nuts that come up thru the rear fender on my 03 FLHT (The bracket to mount seats), and have no idea what it is called, costs, or part #...I lost the old one in a seat change, by forgetting to re-install the 2 nuts on the bolts, and lost the old one while going down the road as it was totally free and loose. Now, I am stuck riding with only my Corbin Stinger, and the wife absolutely HATES it. I also have a Corbin Classic solo and passenger pillion/backrest, sitting there, unable to be used; all I need is this one little bracket, and we are happily back on the road.......does someone out there know where I can get one, or have one to sell or give away? (It's not a high-dollar or much sought-after item, I am sure) In fact, I wouldn't doubt that someone may have one or more of these just lying aropund in their garage or shop, and I would be so grateful for any help....Riding's no fun with momma not happy or comfy, please HELP! I have a 2005 Dodge Caravan SE with a 3.3L V6. My engine light came on about a week ago, and upon pulling the code, I came up with a P0404 or EGR Valve. I work for Pep Boys as an installer, and one of the mechs at work told me to try cleaning out the EGR valve with throttle body cleaner. I sprayed the ports of the EGR valve with throttle body cleaner and then disconnected the positive battery terminal to reset the computer. The check engine light came back on with the same code and the car is still sputters every now and then. The sputtering seems to happen when it's hot outside and the vehicle has been running for a while. I've unfortunately already discovered that the EGR valve is not covered on my warranty. Are there any additional steps I can try, or should I just chalk it up to a bad EGR?

I had a 5 gallon gas container in the back of my truck and it rained the other day and i'm assuming a little bit of rain fell into the container. without thinking i put all of that gas in my truck. nothing has happened so far but a friend of mine said just make sure i keep my trucks gas tank full and that way the water won't ever reach the fuel lines.

i've recently had a argument with a car machanic about some work he did on my car very poorly!.... i've taken my car back to him to be fixed..... and i've noticed on return of my vehichle that some one has been in the oil top up?..... this was not related as the problem was electrical.... me and him had some cross words before he fixed the problem... now i've got it into my head he may have put something into my oil to damage my engine. its running fine no problems and i've checked my oil its normal colour and at a good level.... my question is if he had done something would i be able to tell? would there be odd noises or something? thanks in advance for your help

I have an 02 Pontiac Grandprix with 62k miles. Recently I have been noticing longer than usual cranking when starting my vehicle. Not noticeable to another driver, but since it is my primary vehicle I have noticed a slight change. Today I pulled into a gas station after driving from work (~5 miles) and had the car off for approx 5 mintues during a routine fill up. When I tried to start the car it was very slow to crank, felt like a drained battery. One the second attempt the car cranking sped up and started. I also, noticed my clock time changed during the 2nd cranking attempt. I proceeded to drive another 20 miles until home and shut my car off in the driveway. I immediately tried to restart my car with no slow cranking at all (very slight hesistation though). The car started right up. I then shut the car off and waited approx 5 minutes. Upon restart, the car had the same sympthons as the gas station, slow cranking and again my clock changed time. Any suggestions?
