Everyone I've asked says that its normal for the older model diesels to put out black smoke...
Is it true that nothing will stop it?
Other than not driving it, of course. lol

Hey,

The battery in my car is located in the trunk, and right now the trunk really smells. I know this is an indication that the battery needs to be replaced, however the car starts fine.
Do I still need to replace it?

There is a knocking in the engine but we can still get it started and when it goes into gear the knocking gets softer. We had someone take a look at it and said that it is probably the left lifter. My husband follows directions well and can always fix the car that way. Anyone have any advice and/or a website that we can use for a referance? Thanks!

2000 Chev S10 Blazer, 4.3 engine, auto overdrive trans. Losing coolant. Leaking at the engine/bell housing connection on the driver side, somewhere from above. Is there possibly a coolant sensor on the top rear of the engine? Kinda like the old Chevy V-8 oil sensor that was mistaken for a rear main leak.

My 2003 Ford Mustang v6 shakes when I turn the steering wheel and I am at a complete stop. I have already done a power steering flush for my car and taking out alot of air from the power steering. I still have no idea why my car shakes when I turn the steering wheel. Can someone please help me? Honest answers please.

I mean, the money that you COULD be using for a down payment could be used as your monthly payment, 'cause that's normally the amount of money you would set aside for savings anyways. For example, you could save $300 a month and at the end of the year have some so-so amount for your vehicle's down payment while paying $150 dollars a month for the loan, OR you could go to the dealership today and buy the truck of your dreams and drive off the lot with it alot sooner than a year's time and pay the $300/mo that you were GONNA intentionally save up for the down-payment. I'm just curious, is it so bad to not have a down payment? I can't save money to save my life, but I am responsible when it comes to monthly payments of one sort or another.

when i rev up the motor on my 2007 gsx-r600 and let it go back down to idle it has a slight whistle for the 1000rpm before idle but it doesnt whistle when it idles and when its at higher rpm also i think i hear a slight thwacking sound that increses in speed with the rpm i think it may be my clutch not fully dissengauging and it might be slightly hitting something. Any advice as what to do and does my dealership warranty void if i drop the bike?

Looking for your opinions on ease of tuning, performance, etc.
What modifications do you have? Intake, exhaust, etc.
Curious also what your settings are after final tuning with your combination of parts.

Not looking for suggestions to buy a different unit. I have this, and did not want a Power Commander. I want to compare my findings/feelings with someone else's, not a testimonial from the website. (Real world stuff)

We have a 4winns 225 Sundowner Cuddy, my kids are wanting to camp on the boat, we only take it on small lakes, such as state parks, not a whole lot of movement on the water. Are you able to anchor the boat at both ends of the boat? We have done it during the day hours eating lunch, but never for a long period of time. Just wanted to make sure it was legal.
