I am entertaining the prospect into purchasing an imported Vespa (Italian) motor scooter, rebuilt, to drive to/from work. Do I need to check with DMV regarding legality, licensing? Do I need to check city ordinances about driving them on the public roads? Import taxes? How often inspected? Anything you can share with me is more than anything I know... Please help me with info as best you can - Thanks!!

ok well i own a 2003 honda accord but when i use the remote to lock it it beeps really loud and the alarm is also very loud is there anyway i can get it to chirp when i lock it i know some other hondas do

my citroen xsara had its clutch repaired a few months ago and it has started sticking to the floor when i park ans making a noise creaking and id like to know if theres anything i can do to safeguard it breaking on me again?

has anyone seen a website that helps understand the cost of owning a hybrid? like

35,000 to buy it -3000 in tax credit +7300 for the battery replacement right after warranty ends and the difference in cost of gas. id like to see something like that broken down.

I just replaced the radiator thermosensor, so that should be working. The fuse is also fine.

I think the problem is the fan relay, but I don't know how to fix this or where it is.

It's an old car, so I don't want to spend much money on it, and I want to do it myself.

What would cause a fuel relay switch to go bad?
having trouble with my 99 tahoe not starting and have changed the fuel pump and still had trouble then found that the new replaced fuel relay has gone bad. What would cause this to happen, as soon as we changed it the car had fuel pressure again and started right up. The is something from point A to point B that is causing this to happen. Any suggestions? The friend working on this has never seen one burn up.

I've a 'Hurricane' lawnmower from the early 50's with a Clinton engine that runs very well. The thing is unbelievably well built and belonged to my meticulious father....I want to use it...... however, it has a novel bell anf rubber flywheel friction drive and the rubber flywheel which looks like a 8' mounted tire of extremely hard rubber has deteriorated making it unusable....I've tried sevral ways to rig a replacement and even had the center hub 'retreaded fronm a tire manufacterer but tire rubber is just too soft and it breaks up quickly....looking for parts in all the wrong places...any help?

She doesnt have car insurance and is scared she'll get into trouble. Its at least 500 worth of damage. Do i have to pay her out of pocket? I pay insurance for a reason!!! My deductible is only 100, and i dont feel i should pay anymore than that.

I have a Yamaha WR450F dirt bike and when the gas is turned on the gas flows right through the carburetor and drains onto the ground. Is it the intake needle? Any help would be great.

i have a 73 cl 350 the carbs were rebuilt, tuned up, valves and timming chain adjusted. when you get it on a pull around 3rd gear it startes to miss and hesatate. both pluges get carboned bad and turn black then the pluges file out. could this be the coil everything else was replaced.please help me i am going nuts. the honda dealer can,t even find the problem. thanks .jerry

I am looking at a Ford Focus on Saturday. It is 2002, it has 70 k (miles), 4dr Sedan - 5,000 (plus dealer taxes). what is going on its cranking but its not even attempting to turn over. i changed all filters and bled and cleaned the system of air and debris(if there were any)

the starter is cranking and turning the fan belt but could it be a starter problem?

like our old engines would attempt to turn then fail, then works the next time. but this one just cranks, no turning at all.

im usually pretty good but im just out of it and kind of confused. this is frustrating me a bit so any help or advice will do.

I have A 1994 Chevy Blazer S10.
I started to smell gas when I stopped at A light or when I would get home after driving it. My Dad drain & changed my oil and noticed that my oil tank was way to full. And he could Smell that there is gas in my oil. Does anyone own A chevy Blazer and had the same thing happen? Or does anyone no why this would happen? Or what part I would need to relpace?

Basically my old speedo stopped working, managed to get another one from a off the shelve type of scarp yard but apparently its got alot more miles on than my original one. Does anyone know how i can put this right???
