Check you gages and the lines they may have a pen hole in it just small enough so you can't see it, but big enough to let let the fuel leak out and/or evaporate.

Leaky injectors not closing all the way and allowing fuel to bleed out into the cylinders.

Hows your engine oil level? high?
Does it smell like diesel?

on a diesel the fuel system has to be closed & airtight ck filters filter gaskets & connections along the fuel lines!
