It should be okay.
As long as it's not cold where you live.
Batteries last approximately two thirds as long in hot climates as cold ones.
Just make sure you start the car and let it run for 15 minutes the day you leave. The alternator will charge the battery to full strength.
Worst case scenario, the battery dies and when you get back you just need to jump it with jumper cables and the alternator will charge the battery back up.
Honestly, you should not have a problem with it though.

Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
Job done.
Todays cars computers, radio memory, and other electronic devices draw on the battery and can drain a battery in two weeks,
Older cars pre-1980s don't draw anything with the key off.

I'm actually having the same problem--going abroad for 7 weeks. I'm pretty sure it'll die if you don't start it for that long so I wouldn't just leave it there. My dad suggested unplugging the battery but I have no clue how to do this so I think I'm going to get someone to come start my car every week while I'm gone. Since you have no one to do that for you, look into unplugging it if you can, or find someone (not shady) to do it for you.

disconnect the battery make sure it does not touch the terminals , You can leave it in the car, However it might be a little low when you get back depends on how old it is good luck hope this helps.

You don't need to to take it out - you can just disconnect it. Up to four weeks of non-use is ok. For six weeks, I would disconnect the cable. You might want to put a little fuel stabilizer in your gas tank also.

just unhook it its safer. leaving it sit with no one around and having a battery hooked up can cause stuff to go wrong. mice like to chew wires has a chance of catching on fire. if you have any gas leaks
