For exmaple. I want to take the engine from a 87+ mustang 5.0 and put it in a 67 mustang. How hard would that be.
Would it just require relocating the computer and installing o2 sensors?

It can be done and it will require a lot of work and meticulous detail. You will need every sensor, wire loom's. I would not use one from an 87. Stay with a model year newer to take advantage of OBDII (on-board diagnostics II), not to mention you would want a MAF density system. An 87 Mustang uses a speed density system and no modification from stock will work. I have a project that is very similar, planning ahead is the only way.

verify notwithstanding if that could be a carburator or a twin (mono) injection equipment? the 1st improve after the carburator died. The carburator isn't stable for something! in keeping with hazard for burning some variety of actually undesirable gas with lead and stuff!! you may convert any motor vehicle to injector! you will would desire to purchase the administration Unit that includes. changing is plausible notwithstanding that is going to fee plenty!

It's not about being hard. You will need thousands worth of computer equipment, wiring, etc. If you have nothing better to do, the most cost-effective way is to get a later model from a junk yard and use it for parts.
