1. Know the name of the stop of your destination station & 3 stations before your station so that you know you are about to get off.
2. Know the direction of travel - ie. outbound/inbound, the final destination of that line, and/or the name of that line to make sure you boarded the right one.
3. Be cautious of your surroundings during late evening or peak hours - keep handbags, backpacks, luggage close to you, stay alert, be wary of pickpockets.
4. Have exact fare so you will purchase your tickets faster and if you ride alot, you can think about purchasing a pass.
5. Caution not to sit too close to the train door because thats a hotspot for people taking your stuff and running out just as the door closes.
