No, no, no.......In the hose....That's funny......

Follow the upper radiator hose to the engine.
Under the the thermostat housing the hose is connected to is your thermostat.

it's right in your radiator tube.. Squeeze the tube till you feel the resistance in it... do this when the engine is cold. you should feel what is like a metalic spring.. there is your thermostat.
