i think paying over 2 bucks a gallon for gas is a rip off. where i live its at about 3 dollers a gallon and rising every day. whats the average gas price where you live and do you think prices will drop down below 2 and stay there?

My friend was driving my car yesterday and she had a bit to drink. A cop pulled us over and she got a DUI and we both got MIPS. I'm 19, so the cops don't have to call my parents, but the registration for my car is under my moms name. Will they contact her or send her something in the mail?

I was interetested in an older van. They said it is runs so well.. but the insurance company said they never received the inspection papers. Her dad was a certified mechanic but didnt' feel he would do the inspection. I said I would just take it to the shop and pay for an insepection myself, as I didn't want to buy it without one. They refused and said it is not regisitered and didn't want me taking it out. I walked away... don't people usually let you get an insepction if they don't have it done...? These people tried to convince me that no one would just let you get an inpsection done before you buy it (I think they are trying to reel me in cause I'm a single gal)...

A few nights ago, my brother was driving my car to pick up his car. We were at a red light, and when the light turned green and he tried to get into 2nd gear (he was going about 15 mph), the car wouldn't let him get into gear. The car was moving very slowly, and we were barely able to pull into a parking lot nearby. After parking the car, we tried moving the gear shifter to see if we could get the car into gear, but the stick-shift was very difficult to move, especially when we tried to get the car into 1st , 2nd and 3rd gear , the car seemed to get into 4th gear a little bit. The clutch engaged and disengaged fine, as the pedal came back up smoothly after my foot came off it while trying to get into gear. We were barely able to get the car into neutral to tow it. While we were trying to get the car into gear, the engine would "jump" forward and backward more than it regularly does. I had a brand new clutch put in a few weeks back. Also a cord was hanging from the bottom of the car.

I have a '99 Mustang. When I let the clutch up quickly I hear a little squeak. If I bring the clutch up slowly, no noise. Happens with the engine on and off. No noise other strange noises occur around the clutch otherwise. Ideas?

Driving along the M4 the Wiltsure police caught me doing 90 miles and hour..was taking my grandson back to his mums after respite...I have a clean license and my grandson was making me sing to him.. he is autistic. I lost concentration and overtook the vehicles in front and they had all slowed down. Because they saw the police with the van on the bridge.. What do I do now.. have a clean license.. I normally don't speed really.. I don't......... im an idiot.. I know. But can anyone offer advice. the pic is a clear one. I am scared stiff..

My Father has a Onan genset that stops running when the start button is released. We have replaced the pC board with a known good one. It's getting fuel and generates as long as button is held in. Any help would be appreciated. Plenty of fuel and oil level is correct. Thanks
