I have a '99 Mustang. When I let the clutch up quickly I hear a little squeak. If I bring the clutch up slowly, no noise. Happens with the engine on and off. No noise other strange noises occur around the clutch otherwise. Ideas?

Sounds more like your linkage needs to be lubed.
Check for grease fittings and add acouple squirts of grease

$1200???....this is only ridiculous. The throw out bearing shouldn't cost greater advantageous than $50. For that cost you may purchase the whole grasp assembly and flywheel PLUS hard artwork. If it squeaks purely once you depress/launch the grasp pedal then you definately've pointed out your issue. i could, just to be on the risk-free area, take it someplace to easily have your grasp appeared at (not taken out or aside), and that i could stay far far off from the broker that develop into jerking your chain. Spray some lube on the pedal pivot pin behind the dash.

Clutch cable.... if you can either pull it out and spray wd-40 down it, or just get to it and spray wd-40 in the cable.
