Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. We need all of that info to give an informed answer.
KLR250 - EX250 - KLF250
Every bike is different and models change from year to year.
Some bikes have a battery vent hose routing diagram on the battery box, or inside of a side cover.
Route the hose as straight down as you can.
Avoid routing through tight areas, that will pinch the hose closed.
Make sure the bottom of the hose won't drip battery acid onto any metal parts (frame, engine, chain, exhaust). The acid will eat through it.

Not all that critical, just down, make sure its not folded or pinched. When you take them out of the package and they are all coiled up you can straighten them with a hairdryer.
Trim off extra with scissors.
