Buy a real motorcycle.I don't get it. People buy these toys that have small weed eater motors on them and want to make them fast. That's why they sell bigger motorcycles. If you want to go fast you have to buy something that is made to go fast.

easiest way is to go to a smaller rear sprocket. You'll have to pedal a bit faster to get going, but it will give you much better top speed. (about 20 - 50 $US)
Then, when thats not enough anymore, and we know how you are, an after market exhaust system ( about 125-250 $US) would make a big difference. DO NOT just cut up your existing system, it could result in catastrophic engine failure.
You'll also want to rejet your carb (About 12 $US for parts)
and start mixing your own oil and fuel, bypassing the oil injector altogether. Its the single biggest cause of engine failure in 2 cycle motors. The injector fails, the engine gets no lube, and it explodes forcing you to walk home with your severed penis embedded in your forehead. That is why mopeders should really wear full face helmets. Except chicks. They should ride with me. The hot ones anyhow. The ugly ones can ride with you, I mean, you're already on a moped, how much lower can you go? OK, I'm done teasing now.
Its all the same, you ride, I ride, its all about getting out there and enjoying your experience. Hot chicks still ride with me.
I have seen electric air intake pumps that work similarly to a turbo. I've always wanted to try one on a tiny motor. Look in JCWhitney auto parts catalog. Check out the full racing style fairings for mopeds at Pichler fairings. Someone is making some bitchin mopeds.

I have to agree with bill b.
And there's another thing no one ever seems to think about.
I know laws and rules vary from state to state, that's why they need to be looked at whenever you consider a modification like this. Here, some things that make a moped a moped (besides pedals) are engine size and top speed. Make the engine bigger, it's not a moped anymore, it's a motorcycle (by law). Make it faster than the limit set by law, it's a motorcycle. Take the pedals off, it's a motorcycle.
Spend money, spend more, get in trouble, spend even more.
Buy a small motorcycle, spend it all at once, no trouble, more fun.

pull the baffle out of the exhaust and try taking some of the air filter off .the filter only works on some but pulling the baffle will definetly work just be a little loud ,but hey loud pipes save lives. put a smaller gear on the back wheel or bigger on the front this will give you a faster speed but slower take off good luck

I suggest an after market exhaust like a Biturbo. Rejetting you carb will be a must. and ditch the oil injection, mix your own so you can tune the carb right.
