I have graded baseball cards in sealed plastic cases that have some scratches on it. Isn't there a chemical you can buy to safely remove scratches?

I bought a car a couple months ago, but I've decided I want to go for another car. My friend will take it off my hands for a couple hundred less than what I bought it for. For this sale, will I have to claim income tax? Other than changing the title and accepting my friend's money, are there any other considerations I should be aware of?

Every time there's a funeral and there's a coffin car or whatever you call it and they have there hazard lights on why do people stop for them. I can't wait for an opportunity when a car ahead of me is extremely far away so it stopped and went forward and when the group of cars come close I would only go faster or go the same speed. It's not like i'm going to jail. I was never informed in any law making me stop for them in Drivers Ed or any drivers course. One time the car was by the cemetary and blocked the street. I would honk the horn speed around him I hate them. I would only slow down if a cop was with them which I only saw once.

So why do people stop for these cars?
(I would never)
Why does a car block the street so everyone can get in the cemetary?
(It's illegal maybe I should do that so me and my friends behind me can get to school where it's crowded in the morning.)

i just installed a new head unit and when i turn up the volume to 75% and higher, the mids and highs all crackle and pop. the sub is fine. the mids and highs all run off the head unit. is this a grounding issue? i used 18 gauge wire to ground the head unit, does it need to be heavier gauge? Or is this a problem with my head unit(4 years old)?

Will mounting an amplifier close to a subwoofer (ie on the box) cause damage to the amplifier due to the vibration?

With all these different railcars roaming around, who pays when one gets damaged? (i.e. someone drags one with the brakes on and ruins a wheel) What about when a car fails for no apparent reason? Does the railroad bill the car's owner? How does this system work and is it prone to abuse????

We got the boat running at home the first time since last fall. Went and put it in the water and it wouldnt start. Got it started and running down the lake and died while running. Could this be from the gas gumming up this winter. Last fall there was half a tank of gas and we added stabilizer, but the boat was never moved after we added the stabilizer. Does it have to be mixed through the gas ? We added new gas today with the old.
If any one knows why this motor wont stay running let me know and what we should do to find out the problem? Thanks

If I'm out of my car for an hour I can't wait to get back in it.
Do you like driving ??
What were you like after passing your test ??

Hey, I'm going to get my license soon and I was wondering if the recently released 2008 Lancer (any trim) is a good car for a teen driver.

Do you need to lap the valves prior to installing them? Or can you just drop the new ones in and put everything back together?

I am referring to when people follow behind a hearse during a funeral as it drives the coffin to the cemetery. Usually the people go very slow and have their hazards on. However, is this something they just do, or do they have to get a permit? Do they have to follow strict guidelines such as not being able to drive during rush hour or on highways or heavily populated roads? I only ask because I seem to only recall seeing these funeral lines (for lack of a better way to describe it) driving only on like back roads, and sometimes they have police escorts with them – sometimes they do not. Is that optional or what?

My friend & I took a long trip and I drove. When my friend was getting out of the car, she pulled on the handle a little too hard and broke the plastic covering, making it so that the door can only be opened from the outside. The plastic has completely broken off in some places. I know she didn't mean to brake the door but now I've got to get it fixed and it's going to cost me abt $250. Should I ask her to help pay a portion of the cost? She offered but I didn't say anything at the time...not sure what to do. Need some advice...BTW, the car is a late 90's model.

hello, I have a 2000 automatic ford escort zx2 and the service engine soon light came on yesterday. It seems like everything is fine, it starts normal, no weird sounds, and it doesn't need an oil change for a long time. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Thanks!
