I have graded baseball cards in sealed plastic cases that have some scratches on it. Isn't there a chemical you can buy to safely remove scratches?

you might try plastic polish from your auto parts store, used for headlights

there is also clear lense or lense coat for plastice glasses lenses

A lot has to dp with how deep the scratch is. If you can feel it with your fingernail your not going to get it out with any polishes. One polish that we have pretty good results with at work is Novus products.

But you might also just want to try polishing it with toothpaste.
