Im still Baffled by employees who work with this system are stealing peoples belongings right out of their baggage..It happened to me and Im still quite angry with the way they handled the situation.. They totally ignored my complaint thinking it might go away.. There was just a report on the subject and an investigation was going on. You hear of it once in while, but now its becoming more evident..Dateline had a report on the subject one night last month..I want the public to be aware of the risk they are taking when they fly and having things stolen out of their baggage..Its happening every day and nothing is being done..I would like to see employess who handle baggage go through a metal detector at the end of their shift, just like the rest of us do as we enter an aircraft. I believe through making them go through this kinda of dectection would nip this problem in the bud..What do you think?

I just recently purchased a used car in Feb 21 of this year. The car had about 80k on it and had the 100 and whatever point inspection to ensure it was fine. About 2 weeks of owning the transmission blew. I contacted the dealer and had to basically go all the way to the owner of the dealership to get them to finally take care of the problem. The car has been in the shop for 2 weeks now and everytime they tell me it's going to be ready they call back and keep pushing the date forward. The tell me now it's going to be This Wed. I did not recieve a loaner car. We have another car however with three children it is becoming more and more inconvient to try to get anything done with just one car now as I work 12 to 14 hour days with a rotating schedule so my wife is left home alone without a car and incase of any problems with the children she is stuck. My question is do I have the right to complain to the dealer? Or just be happy they are fixing the problem?

I have a 2004 dodge stratus coupe..got to work just fine today and went to head out at lunch and my car is totally dead. When I got in and used my remote to unlock the car, that was okay, then I put in the key and turned it over, the car made a little effort to start, then just totally shut down, no lights on the dash, no ding ding ding when my key is put in, and the remote won't lock the doors...what could be wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i was wondering how lucky i actually am..... i had a tyre blowout on the motorway at seventy mph... me plus 2 passengers and my dog escaped without a single scratch. evan though we hit the central reservation 3-4 times. and spun 360' at least twice. ended up facing the wrong way in the fast lane, in a car full of smoke. people keep telling me how lucky i am to be alive. am i? or do many people survive similar situations?

I'm thinking about buying that Sony Xplod 1000Watt 2-channel amp from Walmart. Is that a bad buy? I want only 1 sub hooked to it. Is a 2 channel what I want, or do I need a "mono" amp to get the most out of the amp. thanks in advance..

i am not thinking of doiny any swaps, i think that is a waste of money, but i like when people do it, but my question is what is the quartermile time when you have put the k20a ( acuras rsx type s) into the 92 - 95 civic hatchbacks, all stock, i never really know how fast those things are, but i am guessing 200 horses in 1300 pounds car is probably monstrous. I have a 2000 Honda Civic Ex Sedan with automatic transmission and I was cruising on the hwy going about 80mph when I accidently slipped my gear into REVERSE!! It made a horrible noise, so I pulled over...turned the car off...put the transmission in neutral and restarted the engine. The next morning, I couldn't put my car in reverse!! It was making the same horrible noise!! What should I do? Is my transmission messed up?

Just recently my Service engine soon light came on while under normal driving conditions. I called around and most dealers or auto shops want $80 dollares to look at it!!! This is outrageus!!! All they do is hook it up to a machine for 2 minutes and it tells them what is wrong or what code pops up. Is there any cheaper place to do this, because for the number of times that the code pops up, $80 bucks is just stupid, plus then if nothing is really wrong you just blew $80 bucks!!!

car is 1991 mercedes 350sdl turbo diesel.

This doesn't happen often, maybe about once every few weeks or so. Its happen 4 times since I got the car about 2 months ago.

The car engine will shut off but the radio stays on. This leads me to believe it is not a battery problem. People have told me idle speed is too low - but mine idles at 600/700 rpm - which should be fine.

These are the possibilities I believe are more likely:

1) carburator needs cleaning. can any mechanic do this and how much does it cost?
2) fuel injection pump problem / fuel supply / filter problem
3) water deposits in the diesel gas

Any MECHANICS here that have seen this problem before and could suggest to me what to do?

I have heard different opinions on diesel additives - if it is so bad for the car tell me exaclty WHY. How else can I get water deposits out of my car without using products such as ISOHEET?

When I got 20's put on my grand am the guy said that I should keep my air at about 40. My old 16s I usually kept at 32-35 lbs so does this sound right? I know 20s are bigger rims but my tires are extremely thin

ok i have a 93' civic ex standard transmission, and yesterday when i got 10 bucks worth of gas after a awhile it started making a weird noise when it idles and it doesnt have as much speed as it did, im assuming it has to do with the wiring/spark plugs so i bought some...I'm not very good with cars should I just have a mechanic put in the new spark plugs, or should i try it myself?
