Im still Baffled by employees who work with this system are stealing peoples belongings right out of their baggage..It happened to me and Im still quite angry with the way they handled the situation.. They totally ignored my complaint thinking it might go away.. There was just a report on the subject and an investigation was going on. You hear of it once in while, but now its becoming more evident..Dateline had a report on the subject one night last month..I want the public to be aware of the risk they are taking when they fly and having things stolen out of their baggage..Its happening every day and nothing is being done..I would like to see employess who handle baggage go through a metal detector at the end of their shift, just like the rest of us do as we enter an aircraft. I believe through making them go through this kinda of dectection would nip this problem in the bud..What do you think?

All you have to do is take one look at those people to know the answer to that question. Maybe if they paid them more than seven dollars an hour it wouldn't be such a problem.

first off that is why one of the advisement's by the air lines is to keep valuables in your carry on, it prevents damage and theft by both the tsa and the airlines people that have your bags in there control longer then the tsa. do you realize that the majority of air ports use a system that the tsa 90 present of the time never touches the bag, they are moved on belts and unless something is seen on the computer it can not be removed from the belt. If you are talking about what was in the news about LAX that happened 3 years ago pay attention to the report. that was before the background checks had been compleated. if you look around the airport you will see lots of cameras but there are at least that many if not more that you can not see.
