I want something they can soak in, not just a spray.

Please provide the names of chemicals or specific products and where they might be obtained.

Thanks

Gunk and Berryman make excellent carburetor cleaners. Do not use gasoline. The deposits left by gasoline are one of the reasons why you are cleaning a carburetor in the first place. The cleaners I mentioned rinse off with water and do not leave any residue. They are available at Checker, Pep Boys and most auto parts stores.

Gunk. That is the name of the chemical.
It comes in a 1 gal can with a basket.
You can disassemble the carb, and soak the parts in the basket
It is about 30 bucks and can be found at NAPA-Auto Zone
AND Checker Auto Parts.
I use it all the time.
