I think Imprezas are nice-Iooking cars and nowadays I see them on the road more and more. I live in Massachusetts and AWD is a must for the snow. I have been thinking about getting a blue sporty sedan. Are they any good?

he co signed then came and paid the remaining 2 payments and then took the car and the title from the bank. his name was not on the title or vehicle registration. only co signed the loan. called us back and said we could have the car back if we paid him 200 more dollars than the loan had left that he paid off. car is now nowhere to be seen, police won't do anything stating it's a civil matter. what can i do to get my car and what can be done, i need help badly.

I recently had my car broken into. The drivers window was smashed but the car was deadlocked so they didn't get in. The strangest thing as there was toothpaste all over the door handle and on the inside door lock (the pull up tab thingy). Does anyone know why theives do this? It's the first time I've ever seen this.

Just like it is illegal to use your mobile phone. Think about it, it is just as dangerous if not more so. How do you light it safely, say what you like but I don't think it is very safe.

I picked it up 2 days ago. On 2 out of 4 journeys the temp., gauge has gone over to the red. does this mean the thermostat is dodgy?

I've had the transmission oil changed, and checked the linkage, but still have intermittent trouble selecting 1st and 2nd gear, mostly from a cold start. At what point do I know that a new gearbox is the answer? Obviously I want to know for sure what the problem is before spending out a large sum of money. Is there a common fault on these vans? Can anyone recommend a garage to make some checks, or a gearbox reconditioner, in the south of England? Thanks.

When ever I brake I hear a knocking sound. The faster I am going when I brake the faster the noise is and as I come to a rolling stop the noise is slower, and further apart. This noise only happens when I brake, no time else. I just put new drums on my car 2 weeks ago and the noise just started about a week ago. I pulled all 4 wheels off my car last night and looked at my brakes to see if I could tell what might be wrong. All the brakes, drums, etc. seem to be ok. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this knocking sound on my car? I have a 2001 Toyota Corolla. If theres any other info thats needed just let me know so I can provide it to you. Thanks!

I have a 93 mitsubishi Eclipse 5 speed and I was driving down the Road and everything was fine untill my guage went down to zero and shut down then it showed my oil light and battery light we'll I had someone check it and it is ok so I have not a clue what is wrong with it My guess would be a fuse but I am not bright when it come to mechanical work - it will turn over but will not start - funny thing is I was driving it 2 hours prior and it was fine or so I thought - Can anyone give me suggestions!

i want to buy a car this summer. I have talked to a few car dealers, looked at hundreds of cars on the net. I know what kind of car i want to get, but not sure on how to pay for it. I would like to pay cash for the car, but when i talked to a car dealer he wasn't intrested in me paying cash. He was like fill out a credit application,then when i get your credit record we can go from there.He told me that i could use my cash as a down payment on a nicer car than what i was looking at. i filled out the credit application, he called me a few days later saying he could get me into a car with high payments, and needed a big amount of money down. I told him thank you, i would get back to him. Any good suggestions on what would be a good way to purchase a decent car?

If the repo man thinks I'm in one state and I'm in another, how long will it take before they find me? I'm not hiding the car, it's just that I happened to move the same time they decided to try to repossess my car. Not sure what's going to happen here.

Its kinda odd though. It happens when my engine is cold. Once the motor is nice and warmed up, the knocking seems to pretty much go away. My engine has 26000 miles on it too. Could this just be normal warm-up noises? Or is it something I should get checked out?

I ran out of gas last week on my motorcycle, but i dont have a gas gauge on it so i have a little bit of an excuse. but it was stupid to think i could make it home just on the reserve. i had to push it 6 blocks to a gas station, at least i got it off the freeway, lol.
