The two best fixes are the respro mask as mentioned above by bikernoj & the "pinlock" visor insert.

I have a "pinlock" visor insert at the moment & it works better than anything else I've tried. (I have been using it every day for the last 12 months through some pretty foul weather & it has never let me down.

It's a similar idea to the "fog city" shield but has the advantage of being easily removable which makes cleaning much easier. Many manufacturers now supply these with new helmets or you can buy a retrofit kit.

Link below is a good review of this product. It's available at most bike shops & loads of places in www.

I have the same problem with face mask while snorkling;
there are two natural solutions. Spit excessively on inner side and rinse with water poured out of helmet interior. Or, slice good potato in half, and rub smooth sides around visor to eliminate mist. Or course, you'll smell like County Cork.

Get a POTATO cut it in half and rub the inside of your visor with the cut part of it. leave to dry for about 5 Min's and it works for a week or more.

DO NOT USE RAIN-X !!! It will "eat" your visor. My friend knows this first hand because he forgot to read the instructions on the can that say 'do not use on any plastic. Use shaving cream instead and then buff it dry - works like a charm.

Rain-X will work. http://www.autobarn.net/rainglastrea.html
There are also other similar products that work just as well. look for a glass cleaner that will leave a protective layer; try your local commercial cleaner's outlet. The only drawback that I've seen with these products is to make sure that you re-apply when things begin to haze or become unclear.

Other products such as the demister spray are also available.
There are several that are on the market, use 'google' to research anti-fog spray. Keep in mind that this is a common problem for 'face masks' for swimming also. Help may be found in your local store's sports department where they sell anti-fog sprays/ treatments for swimming goggles/ face masks. If your local dept doesnt sell, then you'll have to look online.

You can also make your own using a vinegar & water solution: http://www.ehow.com/how_10042_make-own-anti.html

A great product is a "FogCity" shield insert. You can buy an insert to fit most faceshields. It applies to the inside of your regular shield. Rain X and some fog free wipes you can buy work well but some manufactures warn against using anything but soap and water on your shields. The fogCity shields are a permanent fix for the life of your original shield. Available from Cycle Gear stores...

..and many other fine shops.

Rain-X will usually destroy visors or motorcycle windshields.
Try just wearing sunglasses.
If you're not feeling the wind on your face, why don't you just drive a car?

i just open the visor for a few seconds, the mist should clear up. Also you can just permanently leave the visor open a crack when it is misting quickly... that should keep it clear

just get a jay cloth and smear it with washing up liquid and rub it on the inside of the visor
