I bought a '97 Chevy S10 the other day and as the seller was handing over the Your Valet keypad he said, "You might as well throw this thing away, if you use the remote start you could f*ck the starter up"

Anyone heard of or are aware of such a thing?

A little over a year ago, I backed into my 23 month old daughter with the our car. A few months later our car insurance called and offered to settle her claim for $850. We were suprised that my daughter would get anything since I was the one that hit her. Our insurance explained that it was just like her getting hit by someone else, or me hitting another child. We wanted to make sure all her medical bills were being taken care of and our car insurance said yes they would. But we found out they didn't know everything she had been through and what her injuries were. Now our car insurance has all the bills and the medical reports from the hospitals that she went to. Tomorrow they are suppose to call and offer a new settlement. My wife called around to both hospitals and both ambulance companies that we used and all the bills were about $10,000. Were not greedy, but we want to make sure my daughter gets all the money she should. That's what the insurance is for after all.

they are so cheap , they will do anything to pay as little as possible , I need legal tips of any kind , any info on what and how to say what I need to say at the right time , I was not injured , as far as I know , not sure yet if anything will happen in the next few daze or week,

If you go for an eye exam and it turns out you need glasses, do the doctors report it and therefore you'd have to get a new license?

Cause I know some people have a thing on their drivers licence that says they have to be wearing glasses in order to operate a car.........

When I turn the key I can hear the choke click but the starter does nothing and the shifter will not move to reverse,forward is ok. Batterys are hot and the motor seems to be down all the way and all the connections are tight.Is there a reverse lockout safety switch or something that would cut power to the starter? I can turn the fly wheel by hand and the trans seems to be in neutral It started and ran fine in the driveway a month ago. Course they always run fine on the trailer. Maybe I'll just unhook at the hitch and sail the trailer around too.Hard to get up on plane though.

It has a 390 Cummings and I was wondering if anybody has any info on how many gallons/quarts of oil this particular loader takes and also should I be using SAE-30 in it? I use Rottella T 15w40 in my Duramax, would this be o.k. in the loader. I remember when I worked for a construction company many years ago we uses straight 30 weight in all Diesels. I do not have a owners manual but the loader is a 1987-1989 model, not sure which year. Any info would be appreciated. Also is there a heavy equipment category in Yahoo Q/A? Thanks

I just Tinted my car by professionals.After then my rear window in Accord Special Edition 97 doesn't go down all the way.It stops in the half.I notified it right after my tinting,before that it went all the way down,I am 100% sure abt that.Last Tuesday I tinted it and professional told me not to down windows for 4 days and I didn't touch it,suggested me to check back tinting after 5 days by them.today when I was trying to up and down my rear windows it stopped in half.I asked the guy he told me they don't know anything abt that.But I am sure after tinting it goes like that.Any suggestions how I am gonna fix it?

They posted it in the paper and also announced some vehicles to be destroyed...one of which was a Jeep CJ-5.
I tried to claim the vehicle but no one wanted to talk about it.

Why destroy a Jeep if I wanted to make an effort to use it?

...the Front of Van. It only has 19,000 Miles on it and "Creaks" like a Door Opening...Coming from front end even when van is off, because I got out of van and it Creaked "after" it was shut off. This JUST STARTED and It does it all the time when Driving (like a spring needs oiling), It does it when turning the wheels...It does it when stopping (as the front end dives down), and again as the Front-End comes up when I press the gas to go from stopped position (stop signs, red lights, etc.). I just had a Full service oil change 200 miles ago and it still creaks!! and Remember, it only has 19,000 miles on it. I take Great Care of this Van. And Under the Extended Warrenty (7yrs/70,000), I would have to pay the First $100.00 to check it out at the Dodge Dealer. So, does anyone know what is causing this "CREAKING SOUND" in Front-End of a 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan.!!! How do I Eliminate this? It is very Annoying!!! Please Help?---RON in Michigan. I have a 2005 doge neon sxt, and the problem is i took it to walmart to get oil and injectors cleaned. They forgot a hose back on the master cylinder and this has cause the brakes to be extremely hard to stop the car. In other words I have to press the brake pedal hard to stop the car. I have taken it back to walmart and they have shown me where the hose is missing (their fault) but they don't know where it goes to. Please help I cannot figure it out and can not find a diagram that shows where it (the hose go to) it is the hose from the master cylinder to somewhere.

My POS saturn failed to start the other day. I jumped the car to get it home, took the battery to autozone to have it tested. The guys a Autozone did a load test, said it just needed charging, charged it and gave it back to me. It won't even turn my car over now. I thought bad connections, starter, ignition switch, ground,...but I can jump the car just fine......If I can jump the car, I think it's the battery.....Any ideas?

I like Hondas. Yamaha's are OK too.
