Waste of money, with one of the fastest, most powerful bikes available do you really need more? If you plan on lowering it, stretching the swingarm, and drag racing it then I could see it and while you're at it add nitrous. But for the street no.

Goi ahead if you Limewire or a downloading program like it you can find vidoes on a turbo busa. The bike is rediculously fast and has so much torque the the front end come up in every gear every time you hit the throttle and the boost kick in. So go ahead and do it if you feel you can handle it. Just remeber you probably will lose the top end cuz the boost and higfh revs can actually make the bike do a (12 o'clock) and flip over. But in the end its all worth it.

ducatti is much better more torque and horsepower ??

Okay, let's try not to speak about motorcycles when you obviously know nothing about them.

#1) Decide exactly what you want to do with the bike.

If you're going to strictly drag race the bike, yes get longer swing arms and lower the bike... you can even get bones to bolt your rear swing arm down and simply let your ripple forks down in the front. get a good sticky race tire and hang on for your life.

If you're looking for something more in the middle of ride - ability and cornering, make sure you're not above 5-6 psi on the turbo (roughly 200-220 hp) and for the strip get your boost controller up to 9 - 10 psi ( 240-250 hp). Any throttle response will put you into a wheelie or in a tail slide in the middle of a corner. You're bike is longer than other super sport bikes and they handle the extra power pretty well.

If you're looking just to go fast on the occasional here and there, just get a "sneaky pette" nitrous kit. You can always get a bigger nozzles than what come in the kit to put your shot between 50 - 100 horsepower. The Busa that one of my good friends races is in the 9.2 second 1/2 mile at 158.9 mph on the same set up. You will destroy any other bike on the street with minimal modifications.

All in all, if you're interested in only "cruising" the bike and not wanting knee dragging sweeper corners, you should be fine. there is a website with a 300 hp touring bike and he has no issues at stock length, just respects the power ALOT

Key things on planning to purchase if turbo'ing:

1) Piggy back fuel systems and injectors to not lean out your bike

2) Boost controller - Required for tunning if too much or too little.

3) Extended swing arm - So you're not laying on your back

3) Dog Bones for rear swing arm and lowering of triple forks.

4) Air Shift Kit - So when you're spooled up your computer allows you to shift extremely quick without free-revving your engine to death.

5) A great dyno tuner and programmer to help make sure you're not lean and detonate.

6) Gap spark plugs to .022 to adjust

7) Be prepared to cut up your stock fairings for exhaust modifications and such..

It's a waist of money...not fast enough from the factory.

In '05 a fellow co-worker just picked his up from the dealer and less then an hour later, he dumped it in the work parking lot..LOL!
Brandon now has an '07 and already started to tinker around with it, more money then brains and experience.

I'm torn. Part of me wants to say it's probably fast enough and that you don't need THAT much more speed.

The other part of me completely understands that, even if you're never able to use it - or only rarely, that just KNOWING you have a rocket launcher between your legs is enough.

Totally up to you. I don't know that I'd waste the money, personally.

Turboing a "Busa" is it? Yer, well each to his own.

My advise would be - remember that NASA astronut girl who drove half way across America to beet the crap out of her "love-rival". Well she could drive "non-stop" cause she had on a set of Astro-Nappies"

Before you "turbo yer Busa" make sure you know where to get ASTRO-NAPPIES first!

(English = nappies - Yank = Diapers)
