i take it thru the autowash whenever it gets so dirty that im afraid i might brush against it when im pumping gas

i take it to a Mister Carwash, i bought the package unlimited wash for $55 dollars a month. It's usaully $15 for a carwash from them, so the package was a deal. The more i wash though the more i need to wax, in order to keep the clearcoat looking it's best. i wax once a month and wash 1 to 2 times a week. I live in Texas so the sun is always shining hot and bright.

Used to do it once every couple of weeks. Then I read that the main cause of car rust in Australia was excessive washing (that is if you didn't live close to a beach). Now I do it about four times a year, or after it has been to the beach, or has lots of grasshopper guts on it.

Whenever it bugs me enough. I prefer to do it at home but we are in a drought here and on pretty tough water restrictions which ban car washing so my only option is to take it to a commerical car wash that brings in water in tankers. I still prefer the one were you do the washing and not just drive through.

Once a week every week like clock work, and wax it by hand once a month, its best to wash off the debris that could dig into the paint and to put as many layers of protectant between your car's paint and the elements.

Depends on the season.
Spring and Summer time,I do it myself(average is once a week) just because I love my cars.End Fall and Winter car wash.

Once a year. No, seriously,....once a year. I run it through the drive through wash just to say I did it and to get the winter crud off of it. It's a truck and trucks are just made for dirt and lookin' dirty. Now if I owned a Ferrari......... I might feel a little differently :)

Forget about the car wash, I lived in Oregon and its rain on a daily basis, lots of road crabs....haven't wash my car in 2 years.
