The car will run on regular, however due to the high compression ratio of the k20z3 engine in it, I would NOT by any means run anything but gas with an octane rating of 90-94, this is what is recommended with any street car with a high compression ratio. Your car has a compression ratio of 11.0:1 , thats high enough, you should run high octane gas.

If you put too high an octane level in and the car is not set up to run on that, ie the compression ratio, then you can hurt your performance. Stick with 89 octane, you'll be fine.

If it needs anything higher than regular, it will say so on the gas cap, or a sticker near it.

no regular gas will not hurt the car... I wouldn't try that ethanol E85 crap though. That will hurt it....
The 10% is ok though... as long as it's cheaper than regular. You just don't get as great as gas mileage.

I dont think so, but check your owners manual. If you still have the window sticker it might say on there too.
