Mine used to get the same type of film on it and I use plain white vinegar on a washcloth and dry it with crumpled newspaper it also works for any type of film on the outside of the glass. It smell bad while you are using it but It will give the car a fresh clean smell after about 30 minutes. Vinegar will cut a lime build-up also we have a lot of trouble with this since I live near several lime quarrys. If you ever get road tar on the finish of your car you can remove it with pure lard just dab it on and let it set for a couple of hours and it wipes right off; you can get it in the supermarket near the cooking oils.

Then gently pry the interior lip (starting up in a acceptable nook) in the route of the glass at the same time as U have a helper gingerly push on the windscreen from the interior (on the acceptable) interior the nook that U are engaged on the lip. artwork your way intently to the middle [U will also artwork down the A pillar some] Than visit the different nook and repeat the approach. once the acceptable fringe of the is free have your assistant artwork one nook and U the different. With gloves on grab the acceptable fringe of the windscreen (from the exterior of the motorcar, never use screwdrivers or prybars) and pull out at the same time as operating the seal lip in on the A pillar and it is going to tip out foward with any luck in a unmarried piece. If U have a windscreen that is glued in with byutal acitate then U will opt for to both purchase a elimination knife or U can make one from piano cord and a couple of bolts that U can connect the cord to and in fantastic condition your hand. U opt for about a18 inches of thin, stiff piano cord. take care of the cord to the first bolt soundly now interior the middle acceptable of the windscreen [with all trim interior and out bumped off] intently poke the cord by the adheasive sealant. connect the bolt to this end have your assisant artwork one end and U the different change pulling on the cord [in a sawing action] and artwork to both nook of the motorcar. Than slide the cord back to the middle and artwork to the different nook than down the A pillar, go back and reduce down the different A pillar. Now have your asissant push out on the acceptable gently at the same time as U reduce the bottom strip of sealant [from the interior]with a razor knife. U may even could reduce the bottom sealant from the exterior after U have reduce on the interior to free the bond of the sealant. If U were careful and had incredibly success U now have an complete and undamaged windscreen on your palms

Like the vinegar and water or lysol will take it off. What it may be too, is if you are smoking with the windshields UP. This causes film to accumulate. So you clean off and then smoke and then you notice next week the film again. Endless cycle.

If you've "tried every product on the market", try brake cleaner on a rag.
It's not real good for your skin or dashboard, but it'll sure remove the grease.

You may need to change the heater core as it might be leaking coolant onto the windshield.Or you should stop feeding the kids fried chicken and letting them have food fights inside the vehicle.

Replace the leaky heater core. Or quit smoking.

Sounds like it's copped a dose of silicone. You could try washing it with alcohol - use methylated spirits, but don't splash it around.
