I have a volvo 960 estate 1992 that i got off of a friend, i only have the key to the kay and not the remote keyfob, i went to the dealer and purchased the correct 1 and was told how to program this i went home and no joy thing didnt work, i then noticed that under the bonnect the alarm had been diabled with a small d lock type key i turned this and the red led inside the car came on. I am assuming that i need this to be activated to get the remote to program. the problem is with the alarm on under the bonnet every time you open a door or put the key in the ignition the alarm goes off, how am i supposed to program a remote with the alarm activated??? help...

I have a perodua kembara (made in malaysia) and found out the fuel pump was damage. i was told that a new original fuel pump for perodua kembara is RM1800. is that true? if i buy a non-original fuel pump for my perodua kembara, how much would it cost me?

i have a 5speed 1994 suzuki sidekick and the gears are freezing in the cold weather my machanic has changed the gear fluid and told me that what i had before was to thick and the gears still freeze ... the suzuki dealership around my area told me to put 75-90 in it and my machanic says that is still 2 thick Does any one have any idea what can fix this
or what causes this if its not the gear fluid please let me know

I was curious...is the new dodge challanger comming out as an r/t or srt????....i really want to buy the challanger but if its only gonna be an R/T i know for a fact they will be comming out with an SRT model in the near future!!!....i'd rather wait for that.....does anyone agree???

In the manual it says it recommends premium...I have always put in premium in the car runs with no problems, but with gas prices through the roof, I was wondering, is it ok to put regular?

how do you know your in 4 low besides what it says on the "INFO center". does it have to be manually switched or for some strange reason "eletrically or what ever" could it go by its self.

Ok, i had a car accident in Dec. I was t-boned sort of, it hit my left passenger side tire and impacted all the way down my passenger side door. It totaled out my car. I took it to be looked at. They guy said, "Yup, it's totaled" i asked him, "Is it all body...i mean can i drive it? Is the axle broken?" He said i have a oil leak ( which i knew about and i keep a very close eye on) and other than that it looked fine besides the body damage. I have been driving it for about a month now, today when i left work i turned the wheel almost all the way and it started knocking or thumping when i turned it, kinda felt like i had a flat tire. I checked it, the tires were fine. I turned the wheel towards the other direction and drove in a circle in the parking lot, it made the knocking again. I can feel the knocking not jsut hear it. Can anyone help tell me what could be wrong? ( my alignment is off from the wreck, i haven't fix it yet cause the tires are new i know i need to)

I am in a bit of a pickle...and arguing with hubby almost daily. He says the car HAS to remain its original color. I hate the color of my Judge. Orbit Orange. I know that if I keep it that it will hold more value. But I so don't want to drive it and it being ORANGE. Ewww. I love the look of the white ones. The few there was that were black were awesome, but I refuse to wash it just because I drove it 20 miles, and trust me knowing my husband he is anal enough he would want it done. Is there any hard and fast rule that says I have to keep it that color?

What do I have to do without a timing light and just using my hands and eyes to get it close enough to get it in time? Can someone please tell me step by step the procedure on what I have to do to get my 1985 Ford Ranger 2.8 V6 4 wheel drive 5 speed truck into time? Just to get the darn thing started!!!!!!

Can anybody tell me if the way to alter the amount of boost to a 671 super charger is the sizing of the drive pulleys or is there some adjustment on the super charger.I would imagine it would be the pulley sizing.

The motor has 20 thousand miles on 'er and runs after I finally get it to start after it has sat for a while. I dumped in some fresh 87 octane mixed with about half a bottle of seafoam and the motor is running really rough and idling poorly... I'm sure part of this is the Seafoam, but I also don't know what octane of fuel to run.

From what I've seen online, I've seen numbers range from regular 87 octane to 93 octane.

So what octane should I use? I've only got about a gallon in the tank, so mixing in another couple of gallons ought to help mix in the Seafoam and 87 octane fuel.

so i have an 88 celica and it has an automatic transmission on it. does anyone know any little secrets to bring up the horsepower? the car is pretty quick once its rolling but its really slow off the line, any ideas? i found headers and a cold air intake for it but i dont think that will solve my problem will it? i also know that along the same year toyota came out with the gt-four which was a AWD turbo charged engine, i was wondering would it be alot of work if i found one of those engines and swap it along with the drive terrain and what not.

also whats better driving from california to nevada early in the morning like 5AM or 10PM when are cops not on duty the most....
