First of all, you shouldn't be driving alone while on a learners permit.
Second, Most insurance companies jack up the rates as soon as any persons within the household reaches driving age regardless if they have a license or not. But that does not mean you're covered. Your parents would be liable as it is their car. You would lose driving rights for a couple of years.
Bottom line, it isn't worth all the headache. Don't Do It!

If it's a property damage accident only, your parent's insurance will cover the car and the damages.
You will be given a ticket for driving alone on a driver's permit and your driving priviledges will be suspended at least 90 days.
It's not worth it.

You'll have legal problems, and you won't be able to get your license for a long time. You can also be sued by the other party.
