I would not contact anyone. You, on the other hand, should contact your gap insurance company. If you don't know who that is, you can probably call your dealer if you got it when you bought your car, or your lienholder.

You would purchase from the same insurer you have, you are just asking for more coverage and will be paying the fee for it.
