In the manual it says it recommends premium...I have always put in premium in the car runs with no problems, but with gas prices through the roof, I was wondering, is it ok to put regular?

If it is a Millenia type S, then you have a supercharger and not using premium gasoline would be a bad thing. It would be better to pay a few cents more for premium grade gas than the cost of engine repairs if you don't. If the car isn't a type S, but you have been using the premium for some time, you may experience engine knock and poor performance than you are used to, because the engine has got used to the premium grade gasoline.

If your car compression ratio is designed for 91 octane min then use 91 as the manual says. You don't want premature explosion and knocking, that'll break your engine. Lower octane is not recommended even if the ECU adjusts and retards ignition.

Only if it pings or knocks then you should use premium gas, but otherwise you can use regular gas. Good Luck !

you need to have the timing altered to run low octane gas as it fires later than high octane and the power will drop by 10% if you dont
