I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT with 212,000 miles. When I step on the gas the motor hesitates and starts to shake. It stops when either I place more pressure on the gas or when I let off the gas. Does this sound like a transmission problem?

and my gas mileage kinda sux, i may get 20-24 something like that. its got a 3.8 v6, anyone else have sucky gas mileage out of the 3.8 v6?

New in tank fuel pump (OEM)$280.00 14-16 psi, great flow.
YES I CHECKED.
New fuel filter (fram) re-checked it, it's clean.
Starts every time, and stays running.
As soon as I try to go, it backfires thru TBI.
Some days works fine warmed up to operating temperatures, or cold.
Today, it doesn't want to go. Yesterday before I parked it, it ran good.

With no load on engine, it revs up to redline without a problem
In gear, it doesn't want to do KRAP! Hot or cold.

Is there another filter or screen inside the TBI?
Computer code 12-12-12-12....No faults noted.

Oil pressure over 30psi.

So, I'm thinking TPS.
What are your thoughts?

Anyone know of any company or websites that sell lowering kits or know any good ways to lower a 250 Ninja, only about 1" - 2"
My other half wants to get one but the bike sits just a touch to high for her to feel comfotable on it when touching the ground.

No, it's not to shake your fist at them and make obscene hand gestures. It's really easy. You sit two feet off their rear bumper until they finally move over to the right. Just wait...you don't even need to get angry. They will eventually get nervous with you there and move over to the right. Trust me. I tried this tactic this morning and it works beautifully!!

What? You think this is dangerous? I agree. Move over. Do you think this is rude? So is driving the speed limit in the far left lane. Move over. Do you think speeding is against the law? Yes it is. Please, become a cop. Until then, please move over. Is this totally annoying? I sure hope so. Move over. Oh, and please get off your cell phone.

Seriously, I prefer not to have to swerve around you to the right. Instead, I'm going to sit so close to your bumper, you will barely be able to see my tiny little car out your rear mirror.

I used to get angry, but not this morning. I even cut commute time.

not informed? I have a 2001 Dodge Durango that was fine upon purchasing. Now a year later I found out through my insurance company (VIN check) that it was involved in a major accident 4 years ago. It also has had "coincidental" electrical problems causing bad ground for a radio and shorts in the system. Should I contest this with the dealer and make them liable for fixing this since they didn't inform me of the previos accident?

i have already changed out spark plugs and wires, got oil change, changed filters, took to autozone and had battery & alternator ck.I am losing a lot of oil but it"s not leaking on ground, don't know where it is going.one person told me to change some 02 sensor ! mechanic told me to replace engine because previos owners had overheated it before i got it but it has not overheated on me. please help because i don't want to be taken advantage of.
