Most police departments are slowly moving away from the Ford Crown Vic. They are replacing them with Dodge Chargers. At my department we have been getting some 2WD Chevy Tahoes. So which is better and why.

I have a car with hail damage. I got an estimate and a check to cover damages. I will probably keep the car for another 4-5 years before trading it in. Is it smarter to keep the $3000 (approx) and put it toward payments or put the money into repairs? I'm assuming as the car depreciates, so does the damage cost. In other words, $3000 in damage now will not be the same amount for a significantly older car later down the road at trade in time. Thanks for your help

Think how much money this would save. If this money was put into health care this would save many more lifes than the people who drown when a ship sinks which is quite rare.

I am looking at a 2001 Volvo wagon w/ 90K thousand miles. They are asking 11,000 for the car. Should I buy it, even though it has high miles? How long do Volvo's usually last?

If it was a Toyota with 90K miles, I wouldn't worry because my Toyota's have always lasted me into the 200K's. Are Volvo's equally reliable?

Thanks!

My car exhibits the following symptoms (I need ideas about what possible things could be wrong and possible cost to fix):

*Heat doesn't work well/at all
*Gauges sometimes don't work (Gas, spedometer, temperature) and sometimes it is just the spedometer.
*If I rev the car to speed up or use the heat the spedometer almost always dies on me
*The ding that goes off when the door is open with the keys in/light on doesn't work most the time either

HELP!

Are these just sensor problems or what?

Also, what would it be to fix?

TY
